Kate Hudson Shows Off Baby Bump at Grammys

Kate Hudson showed up to the Grammys Sunday night to support boyfriend-rocker Matt Bellamy, and she wasn't shy about showing off her growing belly, according to Us Magazine.

Hudson attended the star-studded event with beau Bellamy, whose band, Muse, performed and later won Best Rock Album. The couple are expecting their first child together later this year.

The duo, who have been quite private regarding their relationship, were uncharacteristically affectionate as they cuddled in their seats before the show began, and Hudson even posed for photos to show off her baby bump. She also caught up with friend Nicole Kidman, who was with her country crooner husband Keith Urban.

When it was time for Bellamy to take the stage to accept his band's award, the singer gave a shout out to his baby mama-to-be.

"I'd like to give a special thanks to my beautiful pregnant girlfriend over there," he said during his acceptance speech, careful not to mention her by name.

News of Hudson's surprise pregnancy broke last month. Engagement rumors began making the rounds shortly after, though the actress was quick to deny them.

"I don't like putting that sort of pressure on it," she told 'The Graham Norton Show' about her relationship with Bellamy. "I don't feel it necessary to get married ... I am 31, I already have one child and one divorce, so it is not necessarily the golden ticket. I just want to be happy."

The couple's new arrival later this year will join Hudson's son Ryder, 7, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, singer for The Black Crowes.

I cannot stand Hudson. Saw a replay of her loser BF announcing his "pregnant GF" while on stage...I loved how the cameras ignored her because she is to be ignored. She's an unstable sl*t. I feel so bad for this new baby along with her son (who'll probably end up on drugs or in jail when he's older...because of his loser mother). And, why aren't these dumb women on birth control? Does it "cost too much"? So many losers in Hollywood...so many movies I won't see because of it.

I really wish everyone would stop referring to this obvious sign of pregnancy as a "baby bump". It is NOT A MALIGNANCY for crying out loud!!. I think this term is so disgusting.

Julie: Not all birth control methods prevent AIDS. Someone on the pill can still get AIDS. However, I agree, if folks cannot afford children, they should be more careful, no matter who they are.

Hudson is nothing but a S-L-U-T. She sleeps around. Doesn't care that she gives birth to bastards. Being cute doesn't cut it. It's people like her, following in her mother's footsteps, who are horrendous examples to young girls who thinks it's perfectly OK to get pregnant without being married. He actions make her an ugly person.

Natasha, that is an extremely naive statement. Sure, there have been successful single mothers who raised and supported their own children, but go to any jail on the weekend and ask how many came from single parent homes. I have years of child care experience, and even though I love them dearly, I recently had to keep all three of my nephews for 4 days and 3 nights, and I was so freaking TIRED at the end of the night, I couldn't even shower. After months of that, I can see where a single mom or dad can't do everything alone, and something is going to suffer. Real life single motherhood can often rob children of much needed attention and direction in their youngest, most developmental years. How can you be home to help your first grader with math homework when you had to work swing shifts for minimum wage? This country will let single moms 'go to school,' (paid for by taxpayers) and pay for child care (I mean, taxpayers do) and that child care is often no more than sitting your kids in front of a tv screen. Some loving parent needs to help their kids get to work, be there when they get home, nurture them. You can grow flowers with nothing but dirt and water, but children are harder. I see too many girls having babies before they can even legally drink, and leaving them to grandparents to raise so they can party and be young, sleep all day, and do crap on Facebook. You are just too young to realize I am telling the truth.

Well said! These 16 and Pregnant reality show, along with Teen Mom shows don't help any. It is a shame when you hear of teenage girls getting pregnant show they can be on a reality show. Really a sad situation, because the show ends and they are left with a baby, and are no longer in the public eye. And Hollywood on the this let's get pregnant and have kids (twins the new in thing), and not be in secure relationships, are not good examples. As much as you say people should not look to Hollywood as role models, stupid people do all the time.

Clearly someone who doesnt have a clue about what being a parent really requires. Kate uses that stupid happy face just like her mother did and does. Unfortunately, they have enough money to live the way they want without regard for the children.
Ever notice the only pics you see of Kate and Ryder is of them walking on the beach? And someone nailed when they said all she does is sleep around. Always a new guy, always traveling, where is the child she already has? Whois raising that one?
