Vivica Fox 'Basking in the Glow' of Engagement

Vivica A. Fox is enjoying her recent engagement, but that doesn't mean she's rushing to the altar.

"Can we be engaged for just a moment? Geez!" she joked to PopEater at the Cash Money Records Pre-Grammy Awards party in West Hollywood. "Everyone's just like, 'Holy moly, when's the wedding?' We're just basking in the glow."

The former 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' actress is waiting until the fall to start planning the wedding.

Fox, 46, got engaged over the holidays to her much-younger boyfriend, Omar "Slim" White. The 27-year-old concert promoter asked for Fox's hand in marriage on Dec. 26 with an 8-carat ring while the two were in Miami Beach.

This will be the second marriage for Fox, who divorced singer Christopher Harvest in 2002 after a four-year union.

Fox revealed the couple won't be together this Valentine's Day, but White has already sent her a dozen roses and a teddy bear. The pair will reunite in Miami in two weeks to spend time "hanging out and loving each other," Fox said, beaming with a smile. "He's a good one. That's why he's my fiance."
