Andy Cohen Got 'Carried Away' With Montag Comments

Bravo's Andy Cohen made some bold statements last week in response to reports that reality star
Heidi Montag wanted to be considered for the next season of 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.' Now the reality host admits he might have gone too far, according to
PEOPLE.
"There had been so many rumors going on about the 'Housewives' last week, I think I was at the tipping point, basically," Cohen said while at New York Fashion Week. "I guess I got a little carried away."
After it was reported that Montag was trying to
join the cast of the hit Bravo show, Cohen
responded by naming her "Jackhole of the Week" on his late-night talk show, 'Watch What Happens Live.'
"Professionally, I'm not supposed to discuss any negotiations, so I have to parse my words here," he said. "That trash is delusional and I would sooner stab ... knives into my own eyes than see her on this network."
Montag's
new manager, Deb Antney, was quick to fire back at the host for his remarks, according to
RadarOnline.
"For someone as a professional -- who makes their living off shows about women -- to make a comment like that, it's just disgusting, let alone someone in the same business," Antney said in response to Cohen's comments about her client.
Perhaps these two will bury the hatchet one day soon -- if Cohen finds the time. He's been quite busy hosting reunion shows for the 'Housewives' series. With the first season of 'Beverly Hills' behind us, what does Cohen think of the success of the show?
"'Beverly Hills' meant a lot to me," he said. "I loved it so much. Just Lisa Vanderpump. What can you say?"

look @ all the haters on here=jealous ladies!
she was hot before the surgery & she's hottttter now.
gf's.. u all need to stick together now. AMEN.
The only thing she is a star of is plastic surgery and being a moron. Call her a star is an insult to people of even marginal talent. Sad that society is this much decay that useless people like her and her husband can get rich and famous because of the general public's thirst for these brainless and drama filled reality programs.

I just don't see how one distinguishes the difference between the trash Heidi Montag is and the utter trash all the vapid skanks on every RH show is. They are all pathetic and un-newsworthy.

If the Bravo put that bimbo on the tv, I would never watch the show they put her on. I hated her on the Hills, and everything else she has been on.
Here is the Reality check, if everyone stopped giving her the time of day, maybe she would DISAPPEAR

But hasn't "delusional trash" been Bravo's bread and butter for several years now, Andy? Have you ever watched any of your own shows?
