Craig Morgan's skills as a former EMT, Army paratrooper and Sheriff's deputy saved the lives of a Dickson, Tenn., family on Sunday afternoon. After returning home from a stretch of concert dates, the singer spotted a house fire, and his instincts took over. He raced to the scene of the blaze and ran into the smoke-filled house to rescue two young children trapped inside. After firefighters arrived at the scene, they handed the singer a hose to help put out the flames.
Because of Craig's lightning quick reflexes, the home suffered only minor damage, and everyone in the house was safe and unharmed.

Bravo! Great to read a non-salacious story for a change. Hopefully this story will make it to a bigger news outlet so more people have access to it.

Go Craig! Love him as a singer and a person. How many other stars would do this? Not many. He is amazing!

Aside from being heroic he is probably humble and I bet Mr. Morgan probably said something like. "It's really no big deal and was something I was trained to do." IMO he really is a hero and not everyone, training or not, might not have reacted as Morgan did. Thank for your lifesaving action and for supporting our troops.
P.S. I still recall a situation where Mark Harmon rescued a driver from a burning car outside of his home, while his wife, Pam Dawber called 911. Fire officials speculated the driver would have burned to death if not for Harmon. Harmon was very humble after the incident. To me both of these men are brave heroes.
