Jennifer Grey Undergoes Foot Surgery

Actress Jennifer Grey underwent a surgery on Sunday to have a neuroma removed from her foot.

Contact Music reports that the 'Dirty Dancing' star and reigning 'Dancing with the Stars' champion went under the knife to have the mass of nervous system tissues removed from her foot after suffering from agonizing pain since winning the competition.

Grey, 50, took to Twitter on why she had the surgery, "After DWTS it [the pain] just got worse and worse, so do whatcha gotta do. ain't no thang. pain is just a feeling. then its gone."

She even tweeted just after the surgery, "duudes, hard to believe, but i just had my foot operated on, so hopefully i can walk again. gotta dance.miss u all."

Grey even joked about the experience, "I had a neuroma the size of a small city removed, i think i went down a shoe size on one foot."

"I guess that's the price of doing business when you kick ass like that at my age.. haha," the actress continued, seemingly in high spirits.

Grey also had back surgery done in December last year for a ruptured disc. She suffered the injury on the first night of the two-episode 'Dancing' finale, almost forcing her to withdraw from competition.

She won "DWTS" because she was all jacked up on steroids and felt no pain. Bad neck, bad hip and bad foot? Steroids, and lots of them! Her hip will be next.

Jen, I had the same operation several years ago. What a difference it made, no more pain. There is nothing worse than pain in your feet. Get well soon.
