I am sorry kiddo but you are far from the best out there. Being uber-popluar does not mean they just give you awards. Though I have to admit back back back in the day to liking my share of teen idols who were famous for being cute & popular but not neccesarily talented.

Not necessarily. There are plenty of good people who have been nominated who haven't won one, it's just that the other people in their category was better. Me thinks this is something that will happen to him more often than not, if he sticks around that is.
Why do we have to read about these tween idols every day? I don't begrudge the kids their little idols, I certainly had them in my day. The difference was my parents didn't have to read about them every day. The only reason my parents possibly knew who they even were was because of a poster in my bedroom or the random Teen Beat I left around the house. That was it. But today, I'm almost forced to see, hear, read about every single flavor-of-month crappy kiddie favorite ad nauseum.

Dammit, Janet, you don't get it. Did you read this person's post? If your tweenybobber stars were relegated to tweeny mags like they used to be, fine, it'd be our fault to read it. But this kid and all your other little tweeny favorites are everywhere. Their faces are on every page we click on, their name in every headline. It was better when their faces were on collectible cards with a crummy hard stick of gum stuck to them.
I agree with what you are saying, but why hate on the kid? It is the media that causes this frenzy. He is doing nothing more than the other "teen heart throb" did but now days the media over exposes EVERYTHING..
