Justin Bieber might have briefly looked shocked over his Best New Artist loss at the Grammys on Sunday night, and his avid, sometimes maniacal, team of Beliebers are surely springing forth against winner Esperanza Spalding. But Biebs told PopEater there were in fact no hard feelings about the evening."Yes, I wanted to win, but I had an amazing night and performed with Usher and Jaden. That's so huge!" Bieber told us.
After keeping the flames cool on rumors of a Selena Gomez romance, did Bieber have a Valentine in mind to follow up the Grammys? Click through to find out >>

I agree with Sandee...popularity does NOT translate into talent and awards. He is a nice clean cut kid with an attractive face and manner, perfect for all the little teeny-boppers. He is as cuts as a button BUT he is not a great singer, just a perfectly safe teen package! And I really do like him!

Justin Beiber talks best new artist loss: "Yes, I wanted to win" NO SH*T!? Does anyone say "No, I actually REALLY wanted to lose?" The grammys are a joke, no matter who wins or loses. It's never about music. Its about what's popular.

His only talent is selling records to little girls. Twenty years from now he will signing autographs at car shows next to Eddie Munster.

Uh, ever hear of a teen named Wayne Newton who was close in age to Bieber back in the day when Newton began his career?
or appearing on Celebrity Rehab.
Just because all these teeny-boppers love you doesn't mean your a good performer....he needs to pay his dues....if I were a teenager I might be crazy over his singing too.....but there are a lot better...it's the HYPE!!!!

I took my 14 year old daughter to his concert in November and also to see his movie "Never Say Never" and I must admit, he really isn't as horrible as I first thought he was. He does put on a very entertaining concert, and his movie is very eye-opening. For someone who has NEVER had any "formal" training, and to sell out MSG (Madison Square Garden) in 22 minutes? That's something to be proud of. You may not "like" him, but please remember, he is still a "kid", so be respectful!

Congrats to Esperanza Spalding. She has amazing all around talent and deserved the award.

Poster 'LunaSnowStorm' has hit on it. Most of these legendary moderne 'singers' will be forgotten in ten years. Not their fault, it's how the culture has changed. Difficult to see a 'Frank Sinatra' or a 'Bobby Darin' or a 'Dinah Shore' or a 'Mel Torme' evolving from this lot. When pyrotechnics are your big selling point, a true singing talent is not required. And God forbid the words can be understood. No, not much potential for shows on MPT in 20 years honoring the Bieber legacy.

Congrats to Esperanza Spalding -
Before the other night, not very many of us have even HEARD of this artist. I still do not really know who she is nor what she does, although I have looked her up, and I personally don't listen to "Jazz" - I guess she is "ok"

I too think the most talented and best out of the nominees won the grammy that night. Just because he's popular among mostly teeny-boppers who know nothing about music and thinks he so dreamy doesn't make him great. I think he should be satisfied he was even nominated.

Justin better get over it. Esperanza Spalding deserved it much better. Justin better realize the world does not revolve around him.
