Camille Grammer Wanted to Quit 'Real Housewives' During Filming

Camille Grammer's scandal-filled turn on 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' almost didn't happen, according to the reality star.

Camille, whose messy split from husband Kelsey Grammer served as a focal point for her 'Housewives' seaon, opened up to TV.com about wanting to leave the show.

"I quit for, you know, a couple of weeks," she says. "And actually Kelsey called me and said, 'You have an obligation to do the show. You have to finish the show.' So I said, 'OK.'"

Camille confesses that her rocky first season has left her decision about whether or not to return to the Beverly Hills cast up in the air, and addresses rumors that she's joining the 'Housewives' cast in her husband's new hometown of NYC.

"I can definitely say that's not happening," she says.

In addition to the show's explosive reunion special, Camille says there are other reasons for her trepidation about returning to the Bravo series.

"I didn't think that it was an accurate portrayal of myself," she says of 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.' "They didn't show a rounded-out sense of who I am as a person."

Camille, who co-founded the TV production company Grammnet with her ex-husband, may be apprehensive about jumping back into reality TV, but she's not opposed to a career on the small screen. The former dancer appears on the season finale of '$#*! My Dad Says,' which she says was a positive experience despite the "crazy time" she's having in life.

"I have to say, it felt really, really good. After everything I've been through, I felt really welcomed and embraced by the cast and the crew and the writers, and of course by the audience. It was nice. It was kind of like a mini-mini homecoming for me."

While I do not care for her, IMO, I do not think that she should continue on with "BHHW." It's done for her. Kaput. Finish. Just leave it at that and go forward in her life. And that way we will see the real s-h-i-t stirrers (who did her dirty) they will be exposed as they continue forward and are exposed when they gang up on another one of their own. And thay will.

Boohoo! Camille was and is one of the "sh_t stirrers. To say otherwise is a lie. While I agree that Bravo edits it's shows, Camille even on the "Lost Footage" showed her true colors. If Camille stays or leaves makes little no difference to me, the fans of Beverly Hills Housewives know exactly who the sh_t stirrers are and Camille is no saint! Enough said!

Please, please leave Camille. It's hard to believe you were Mrs. Grammer for as long as you have been. I will not watch the show if you are on it. I find your behavior outrageous. From the way you flirt and kiss on men, to your friend the so-called psychic. If she was a true friend, she would have enlightened you to problems that was occuring in your marriage, and direct you both to counseling. You are not a very fine example of a mother. Why do you need nannies to raise your children? 90% of working mothers manage a job, housekeeping, a husband and most of all, their children.

While I think that Camille is a snake and deserved everything that happened to her.... I think Kelsey is a bigger snake. A big, gay snake. That new gal is a cover for the real life he wants. What did she do? Worked for an airline or something? I would give that up to collect 50 million dollars in 14 years. Just saying.

I think we all saw just who Camille Grammer is during the show. I think she is arrogant, sneaky, conniving, and truly an evil person. She makes her little giggling statements about people and then if anyone calls her on it, she says she was just joking. Her friends will stick up for her, but in one way or another I think she owns them, so what else are they going to say. Seeing the producers cut of the “Dinner From Hell” did not make me feel any different about her, in fact it solidified my opinion. Speaking about evil people, that Allison Dubois is sickening. She and Camille get along because they are both so alike!
