'Two and a Half Men' Creator Chuck Lorre will be 'Really Pissed' if Charlie Sheen Outlives Him

There's no mistaking how Chuck Lorre feels about the Charlie Sheen situation surrounding 'Two and a Half Men.' Not after last night's episode, at least.

"If Charlie Sheen outlives me, I'm gonna be really pissed," wrote the 'Men' creator on the traditional "vanity card" in the closing credits of Monday's show. Lorre traditionally uses the cards to share everything from an abstract thought to a joke, but this one was a tad more topical than usual.

The full text reads, "I exercise regularly. I eat moderate amounts of healthy food. I make sure to get plenty of rest. I see my doctor once a year and my dentist twice a year. I floss every night. I've had chest x–rays, cardio stress tests, EKG's and colonoscopies. I see a psychologist and have a variety of hobbies to reduce stress. I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't do drugs. I don't have crazy, reckless sex with strangers.

If Charlie Sheen outlives me, I'm gonna be really pissed."

TMZ is reporting that Sheen jokingly replied to Lorre, "Chuck, I will outlive you. I will piss you off." But the actor added, "I miss you, man."

Sheen also reiterated his desire to get back to work, telling Lorre, "Get off those other shows. Get back to the one that launched those."

It looks like Sheen is desperate to get back to work. On Monday, he called into 'The Dan Patrick Show' and said he'd been banging on the 'Men' stage doors trying to go back to work.

"We're on forced hiatus. They said, 'You get ready, we'll get ready.' And I got ready and went back and nobody's there," Sheen said. "I don't know what to tell you, Dan. Nobody's there ... I'm here and I'm ready. They're not. Bring it, you know?"

He's been a bust out drunk for years and still managed to show up for work.
Maybe Lorre is just looking for an excuse to shut down.
He'd save millions.

I just saw the "ponzi"on 2&1/2 & Charlie looks horrible. At this point there's no way for me to think of him as someone women throw themselves at (besides hookers & porn stars). The sex symbol playboy look he once had is totally gone. It's sad.I don't think i'll be watching any more episodes it's too unbelievable.

Charlie should not return any time soon. But if he does, I have written an episode for him that centers around a drug and booze party where he ends up putting a six inch knife to the throat of his surprise stage daughter whom he mistakes as a hooker. She is screaming in the back room.

And Charlie says: "Why are you overreacting? The knife isn't isn't even sharp."

I don’t know why Chuck Lorre is so upset. He’s the one who started this public feud. If he wasn’t prepared to handle the aftermath of his actions he shouldn’t have written what he did in "the vanity card" in the closing credits. I’m pretty sure he knows how Charlie is & knew he would fire back. If there is someone to blame for Two & a Half Men shutting down I believe it would be Chuck Lorre. He went to far by taking personal problems with Charlie public. Shame on him.
