Deceased Surgeon's Mother: Heidi Montag Is 'Vindictive'

Speaking for the first time since the August 2010 death of celebrity plastic surgeon Frank Ryan, mother Mary Kate Ryan has spoken out about arguably most famous patient, Heidi Montag.

"One minute she says his hands were created by God, and the next minute she's saying she's upset with her body," Mrs. Ryan told RadarOnline.com. "This woman's statements are not true. Everyone knows that's not true. There were people present during the consultations she had with my son. Unfortunately, it's the world we live in and it's sad."

Mrs. Ryan was upset after seeing an ABC prime-time special, 'Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Too Far?' in which Montag blames Dr. Ryan, who died in a car accident at age 50, for coaxing her into too much surgery.

"I don't like vindictive [people]," Mrs. Ryan said in what Radar calls an "emotional" interview. "He's gone now, forget it. What she did, I don't think it's right. He's gone."

Still, Mrs. Ryan feels more sorrow for Montag than anything. "She's young," Mrs. Ryan said of Heidi. "She'll find out when she gets older about the world she lives in."

In November 2009, at age 23, Montag solicited 10 cosmetic surgery procedures in one day from Dr. Ryan. She later claimed she regretted it greatly, telling tabloids, "My boobs are crushing me" and "I'm always going to feel like Edward Scissorhands."

Mrs. Ryan, on the other hand, is moving on and remembering her son fondly, she said at the First & Hope Supper Club Benefit For Dr. Frank Ryan in downtown Los Angeles on Feb. 14.

"Today means something for my son," Mrs. Ryan said, beginning to cry. "We're going to keep his legacy alive. He did a lot of good. He worked hard for where he is by himself. It wasn't just given to him."

Montag declined Radar's requests for comment.

Frank Ryan is a creep and his mother is a senile imbecile who should shut her wrinkled old mouth. Frank Ryan took advantage of Heidi so he could cheat her out of her money!!! Heidi DID NOT need any surgery, yet he talked her into doing 10 procedures like a greedy salesman. Doing surgeries on people who do not need them is malpractice!

She had ultimate approval of all surgeries so it's all on her and whether it happened in one day or not, they would have all happened eventually might as well get it all knocked out at once. It's a shame, she used to be so much more pretty.

He took advantage of her and obviously he did things that she did not ask him to do. I am quite certain that she did not consent to allow him to make her look the way she came out looking. who would?

I wouldn't say vindictive is the correct word; maybe delusional, narcissistic, and heartless are better. Heidi Montag will never be the celebrity she wants to be and will use any opportunity she can to get a few more seconds in the spotlight, including blaming her doctor after his death. Luckily, Mrs. Ryan took the high road and is moving on with her life after her son's death

ms. montag i'm sorry that you now regret your elective surgeries and the money you spent on them. you should feel ashamed of yourself for blaming your choices on your dead surgeon. if you had any problems with him there is the ama and whatever medical board that had oversite over his license...you are upset because no one wants to see you and what you have done to yourself because we remember what you looked like. you went to far and want to blame everyone else for what you did. he did what you asked for, you can get it fixed if you really wanted to.

Excuse me, but Heidi was a young girl, only 23, and she trusted this conman Frank Ryan. He was the one who was ugly and needed surgery, not her, of all people!!! She was perfect!!! She is a victim and deserves sympathy, not blame!!!!!!

Heidi has no heart, but ours goes out to you Mrs. Ryan! Your son was taken away at far too young an age. Heidi knows she's cut off from further plastic surgery and it's no doubt her way of obtaining the further surgery she's so obsessed with, if only in an attempt to call it "corrective surgery." Heidi's not an attractive girl inside or out! I'm surprised she never underwent work on those huge hips, rear end and thunder thighs of hers. In addition to understanding life and the world as she ages, she will also be quite the heifer in about 15-20 years.

I had a facelift and eyejob 6 years ago with Dr. Frank Ryan and all I can say is he was arrogant and had a huge ego. He did a horrible job and left me with terrible scars and uneven eyelids..he was the worst doctor and got nasty when he could not correct the issues. Do not always blame the famous starmongers sometimes the doctors are just as bad, and he was horrible to me after he botched my face. And yes he convinced me I needed way more work than I went in for.

PS.If the man had not been texting and snapping pictures of his dog while he was driving on PCH he might be alive.

Is the dog O.K.? I used to work for general surgeons they thought they were better. They only "hung" with rich people. I work with lawyers now, and they are down to earth. They hang with the rich but they are nice to me.

I feel sorry for his mom. With that said, I wouldn't have trusted his judgment after the first glimpse of his own face. My first impression was...wow, who did HIS plastic surgery ! Yikes, scary !!!
