Justin Bieber Talks Sex, Abortion in Rolling Stone

To the delight of young girls everywhere, Justin Bieber graces the latest cover of Rolling Stone and speaks candidly about girls, politics and ... sex.

The 16-year-old pop star, who is reportedly dating Selena Gomez, reveals he believes in waiting for love before having sex.

"I don't think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them ... I think you should just wait for the person you're in love with," the 'Never Say Never' star says. (In the issue, we also find out that the desktop image on Bieber's laptop is a photo of him and Gomez against an orange sunset. Aww!)

And although Bieber isn't old enough to vote, he discusses politics, admitting he has an opinion on abortion.

"I really don't believe in abortion," Bieber says. "It's like killing a baby?" When pressed about abortion when the pregnancy is the result of rape, Bieber says: "Um. Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that."

Bieber's issue of Rolling Stone hits newsstands Feb. 18.

Considering that abortion shouldn't be used as a form of birth control, I'd say I agree with him. If you're going to have unprotected sex and end up pregnant as a result, both partners should take responsibility for their actions. However, if the woman is pregnant because of rape, if there are medical issues involved, if the mother is simply too young...perhaps different options should be available.

Regardless, while I am not a fan of his music, I am a fan of Justin - he's charming, he's thoughtful and he seems sincere, unlike many other young stars. I think he's on a solid path.

uhhhh abortion is not a form of birth control

@duh - I don't believe it is a form of birth control, but I think a lot of people use abortion as a form of birth control after the fact. I've heard of people who have had multiple abortions and so they obviously DO think that abortion is a form of birth control - it is to those people I am referring. If you're going to have sex and not take precautions ahead of time not to get pregnant, then you are an idiot. If you don't think that you need to worry about precautions ahead of time because you can always have an abortion if you wind up pregnant, than you are an even bigger idiot.

According to the Truth of God's Word, sex should wait until after marriage. Just being "in love" doesn't qualify. How many young women and men alike have thought they were "in love" and got pregnant before marriage? Abortion is murder no matter what the reason it takes place! God said, "I knew you when you were knit together in your mother's womb.

No, you really dont. Only your father should have any say over what happens to his cancerous testicals. Only your father could understand what it's like just as you as a female cannot expect him to know what it's like to carry and give birth to a child.
He doesnt need his spouses permission, he certainly doesnt need the permission of a judge and he doesnt need yours to seek or refuse treatment. It's between him and his doctor, as it should be.

I think it was stupid to publicly ask a 16 year old kid his opnion about an adult issue. It's opened him up to even more bashing.

Great! Now all the little girls who get pregnant won't abort because Bieber doesn't believe in it! Where was his handler at the time of this interview and who asks a 16 year old about abortion anyways?

I don't care if he seems mature, acts mature or how hard he tries to play and talk grown-up, famous or not famous, he's still a 16 year kid and it's inappropriate to ask questions of this nature. I'm surprised his parents weren't monitoring this interview. You guys are going off the rails discussing whether he's right or wrong about abortion and hanging onto every little word he's said. Stop projecting your adult views onto this boy and take a moment to realize that if a neighbor or teacher even remotely approached the subject of sex or abortion with your child, you guys wouldn't be too happy.
