Insiders tell me, however, that's not going to happen if Ashlee's dad, Joe Simpson, has his way."Just like when Jessica split from Nick, Joe is doing nothing to encourage Ashlee to give the marriage another try, if only for the sake of her son," an insider tells me. This pervert is determined to have his daughters with him forever and the reason........money. He needs their money. If they have families then he may have to get a real job. Where on earth has their mother been all these years that he has controlled every aspect of their lives. All he has done is make them unhappy. Nick was the best thing that ever happened to Jessica but he was too good for that bunch. Don't know anything about Ashlee's husband but not surprised he will be gone.

Why would you call him a "pervert"? That's pretty sick talk for someone you don't know! So far, he's a father causing grief by meddling into a daughters affairs (for the 2nd a time), but nothing more than that, so what's YOUR problem?
Joe is a bad man. He doesn't just wreck his daughters' lives and relationships - Ashlee and Pete have a child together. What kind of Grandfather busts up his grandchild's parents? He should be helping them to seek counseling or whatever they need to keep their family together.

Pervert? Correct. I read in an article that he said Jessica could make lot's of money with her big boobs. It's not natural for a father to be looking at and speaking publicly and his daughters boobs. It's not normal to hold on to your grown daughters, especially after they have been married and divorced. He's fine that he loves them, but they can't live in his house forever.

Blood's thicker than water, but money's thicker than blood. Ashley and Jessica are very different. Ashley has always made her own moves even when daddy didn't like it.
I don't think it's dad's fault. They just grew apart but are not focusing in trying to keep the promise made, now affecting them AND their child. Both girls are old enough to know better than to do all daddy says. If not, then they're too stupid to be on their own.

They may be very different, but if this father does not stay out of his grown children lives, the, unless they are both very strong, will end up like Lindsay Lohan whose parents virtually destroyed her career with bad parenting. Mr. Simpson is obviously jealous that his daughters achieved the fame he did not. He should just butt out and let them lives their lives not him live it for them.

Thank you. That was my point. Fathers do not talk in interviews about their daughters boobs or any other body part. He has always been really wierd about them and says things that are not appropriate for a dad. The mother should definitly tell him to shut up. He was supposedly a preacher for heavens sake. He is just a leech sponging off his beautiful but kind of dense daughters.
