Charlie Sheen to Lindsay Lohan: 'Work On Your Impulse Control'

Charlie Sheen called into 'The Dan Patrick Show' on Wednesday and gave an eight-minute interview to set the record straight about his 'Two and a Half Men' hiatus and various reports surrounding his tumultuous life.

"It's just insane, I have to call in on a couple of things," Sheen told Dan Patrick on-air for the second time in three days.

"People need to understand how supremely grateful I am that someone stepped in here," Sheen said. "I don't want to say who, but you know, basically, Viacom showed up at my house and said, 'Dude, it's getting really obvious, and we're really worried about you. We don't give a rat's tooey about the show, we care about your health.' So, they came in and just man to man and said, 'We have to shut it down.'"

Somewhat arbitrarily, Sheen asked Patrick to notify him if Lindsay Lohan was ever secured as a guest for the show. "I've got some things I'd recommend she'd consider," Sheen said. "I don't tell anyone what to do."

Pressed for one piece of advice for Lohan, Sheen said: "Work on your impulse control. Just try to think things through a little bit before you do 'em."

On the topic of LiLo, Sheen condemned media who "vilify without fact." According to a TMZ source, Lindsay was thankful for Charlie's words, reportedly telling acquaintances she "appreciates Charlie giving her his support."

Sheen mentioned an unidentified girlfriend and said he is "100 percent" in love. HollywoodDame.com speculates that "simple deduction would peg Bree Olson has his new lady love," saying Sheen spent the holidays with the 24-year-old porn star.

Sheen also chimed in on 'Two and a Half Man' creator Chuck Lorre's humorous comment this week -- on the traditional "vanity card" in the closing credits of Monday's TV show, Lorre wrote, "If Charlie Sheen outlives me, I'm gonna be really pissed."

Was Sheen affronted? Not at all, apparently. "Everybody tried to turn it into a feud," Sheen told Patrick. "It's a reflection of how he feels in comparison to how insane my life appears at time. I took it as a huge compliment. He basically wrote a brilliant little piece of literature and called me Superman. Don't people get it?"

The Superman part came in the full text of Lorre's words, where he touted his own efforts at maintaining health, in contrast to Sheen's hard-partying ways.

Sheen said he'll return to 'Two and a Half Men' on March 1. "We're gonna get back there and we can figure this out."

When asked, Sheen also said he will continue starring next season. "Oh God, yeah!" he said. "Because I have a two year deal. I'm a man of my word."

Sheen expressed the same sentiment speaking to Patrick two days prior, on Feb. 14. "I'm a man of my word; I have a contract. They said get your act together, and I did. I think just maybe it was a timing thing. I didn't think it was going to happen this fast. Check it, it's like I heal really quickly. But I unravel pretty quickly. So get me right now, guys."

Sheen told Patrick that day that he was sober. "Oh yeah. One hundred percent, one hundred perfect," he said. "Peeing clean. I just said pee on your show, sorry man. I feel great, man ... I'm here and ready ... I'm actually hungry."

Ready to return to work earlier than expected, Sheen went to the set and found it empty. "We are on forced hiatus. They said, 'You get ready and we'll get ready.' And I got ready and went back and nobody's there," Sheen said Monday. "I'm here and I'm ready. They're not. Bring it, you know?"

Wow - you have some major issues yourself to wish death on these two. Yes, they have some serious problems, but what is it that makes YOU so angry and bitter? Anyway, I hope they are ready to face their demons and wish them the best.

It is sad to see and hear the total ignorance displayed by hateful people. I wish all addicts, alcoholics a full recovery, but that will never happen. As far as Charlie, he is a three week wonder, able to conquer a lifetime disease in a short period? NOT ! Obvious case of denial, and ego. All addicted want 10 years of recovery in three weeks but it takes time to get into that much trouble, and it takes time to get out of it also. If Charlie worked half as hard at staying sober and living right as he did getting stoned and living the low life he would not fail to get sober and stay sober. But he only wants the heat off, to feel better, and a better grade of druge and booze. It is the insainty o doing the same thing over, and over, and over and expecting different results each time. For Charlie, and Lindsay, and all who suffer, my change came when I realized there is a God, and I am not him.

You want them to die??? Or go to jail at the very least? What's wrong with you??? They aren't evil, Charlie and Lindsay are to people who have lost sight of what's important in life, and because of that they are very much out of control. But we shouldn't wish them harm, we should pray that they will have that epiphany that wakes them back up to the reality of what life is all about. Case in point, Robert Downey Jr. Since he has gotten clean, he has showed the world that yes, he is a very good actor, and still has a lot to contribute. Give Charlie and Lindsay a break...

Your right is a train wreck looking for a place to happen. He's either going to over dose's or abatement of do it for him talking about Lindsay. She more money than brains. What she needs to do is get away from the people. With the all the money she has. I buy an island somewhere and have my supplies brought in once a month and lived there in peace and serenity. You would have to do another thing the rest of her life to do that her friends her downfall. But parents don't give a SWEET crap always she brings in the money always she dies and get it all, I give her and Charlie Sheen about a year and they will be dead. The way they're going right now because they don't know how to stop. They have an image they have to all fill and if they don't they think they're now losing notoriety, but they are going to lose anything but their life's if they keep going the way they go
