Charlie Sheen to Lindsay Lohan: 'Work On Your Impulse Control'

Charlie Sheen called into 'The Dan Patrick Show' on Wednesday and gave an eight-minute interview to set the record straight about his 'Two and a Half Men' hiatus and various reports surrounding his tumultuous life.

"It's just insane, I have to call in on a couple of things," Sheen told Dan Patrick on-air for the second time in three days.

"People need to understand how supremely grateful I am that someone stepped in here," Sheen said. "I don't want to say who, but you know, basically, Viacom showed up at my house and said, 'Dude, it's getting really obvious, and we're really worried about you. We don't give a rat's tooey about the show, we care about your health.' So, they came in and just man to man and said, 'We have to shut it down.'"

Somewhat arbitrarily, Sheen asked Patrick to notify him if Lindsay Lohan was ever secured as a guest for the show. "I've got some things I'd recommend she'd consider," Sheen said. "I don't tell anyone what to do."

Pressed for one piece of advice for Lohan, Sheen said: "Work on your impulse control. Just try to think things through a little bit before you do 'em."

On the topic of LiLo, Sheen condemned media who "vilify without fact." According to a TMZ source, Lindsay was thankful for Charlie's words, reportedly telling acquaintances she "appreciates Charlie giving her his support."

Sheen mentioned an unidentified girlfriend and said he is "100 percent" in love. HollywoodDame.com speculates that "simple deduction would peg Bree Olson has his new lady love," saying Sheen spent the holidays with the 24-year-old porn star.

Sheen also chimed in on 'Two and a Half Man' creator Chuck Lorre's humorous comment this week -- on the traditional "vanity card" in the closing credits of Monday's TV show, Lorre wrote, "If Charlie Sheen outlives me, I'm gonna be really pissed."

Was Sheen affronted? Not at all, apparently. "Everybody tried to turn it into a feud," Sheen told Patrick. "It's a reflection of how he feels in comparison to how insane my life appears at time. I took it as a huge compliment. He basically wrote a brilliant little piece of literature and called me Superman. Don't people get it?"

The Superman part came in the full text of Lorre's words, where he touted his own efforts at maintaining health, in contrast to Sheen's hard-partying ways.

Sheen said he'll return to 'Two and a Half Men' on March 1. "We're gonna get back there and we can figure this out."

When asked, Sheen also said he will continue starring next season. "Oh God, yeah!" he said. "Because I have a two year deal. I'm a man of my word."

Sheen expressed the same sentiment speaking to Patrick two days prior, on Feb. 14. "I'm a man of my word; I have a contract. They said get your act together, and I did. I think just maybe it was a timing thing. I didn't think it was going to happen this fast. Check it, it's like I heal really quickly. But I unravel pretty quickly. So get me right now, guys."

Sheen told Patrick that day that he was sober. "Oh yeah. One hundred percent, one hundred perfect," he said. "Peeing clean. I just said pee on your show, sorry man. I feel great, man ... I'm here and ready ... I'm actually hungry."

Ready to return to work earlier than expected, Sheen went to the set and found it empty. "We are on forced hiatus. They said, 'You get ready and we'll get ready.' And I got ready and went back and nobody's there," Sheen said Monday. "I'm here and I'm ready. They're not. Bring it, you know?"

To The Raw Truth................very good post, doesn't Keith Richard look like a walking dead? Now with that said, Sheen is amazing, this guy is just not turned into that he has a major problem. Isn't that calling the kettle black. Until he gets help I'm no longer a Sheen fan. Which one will emplode first is what I'm waiting to see.

Anyone who wishes another ill or harm is a sad and lonely person. Those people are what ails our country today. We should pray that they get help, not die . Sad to say this country is on a path that will not get better unless we pull together as ONE.
Good luck to LiLo & Sheen, God knows they need it as well as the USA.

Sheen and Lohan both have had more chances than most people could ever hope for. They both need to pull their addicted heads outta' their arses before it's too late for both of them.

If Charlie is smoking crack, I hope his dad or brother, someone would step in. Crack is a horrible drug that does kill.
I have seen people who used it, they turned to total idiots after using it for a while. Perfectly good, honest, hard working people, that had pride, turned to crap.
I hope that someone close to Charlie, helps him before its too late. The clock is ticking.

Charlie has been sober for 5 minutes so far. He is 50. What does he know about impulse control? He has none! Over the top drug and alcohol use, porn, pros, domestic violence, etc. over and over through his years. When he manages to stay clean for 10 years, maybe then he can begin to give advice.

Let's see. He's sober for 5 minutes; at 50 and toothless, he buys drugs by the case and hookers by the dozen; trashes hotel rooms like a teen rock star in the 80's; has been charged with domestic violence; has overdosed accidentally; married, made babies, and married again and made more babies shortly after.
He wasn't approached by the radio station, He called them... Random? impulsive? He's not in a position to advice anyone.

This really makes my heart break. Charlie Sheen is a very talented actor with so much to offer.He has an addiction & it is so hard to get clean & sober on your own let alone the denial that you go through, you are embarrased to admit you have an addiction so there fore you stay in denial. i wish someone could reason with him,I don't want to see him end up like River Pheonix or Heath Ledger. They all had their whole life ahead of them.
