Now, I'm hearing that the 'Hannah Montana' star has signaled that she wants him to clam up and stop acting like another infamous stage dad."To say Miley is angry is an understatement," a friend of the Disney star tells me. When you look at the close relationship this father and daughter always had, you have to ask yourself just who betrayed who? Miley was always saying how well her father and mother brought her up...and it always looked like they were there for her then she turned eighteen and from the outside looking in, it looks like she turned her back on them and decided to party. Too bad she didn't listen to them and too bad she is going to wake up one of these days and look old and wasted like Lindsay does.

I think the entire Cyrus family is in shambles because of the parents' divorce and it just unluckily coincided with Miley turning 18. If Billy Ray had no other way to speak out to his daughter then good for him for at least trying. Her mom seems to be an invisible "yes woman" who doesn't care that the girl does.

Billy Ray you are such a P.O.S. red neck. Last year you're sitting there saying its all ok for Miley to lap dance a 40 year old because hes a friend of yours. I wouldn't give a s**t, I would have kicked the guys a** for doing that with my daughter. Now you sit here and talk s**t about Disney. Oh yeah YOU are the one who signed her to do the show and wanted your own contract so you could be famous again on the shirt tails of your daughters talent, because you were and always have been a one hit wonder.

I agree that Miley needs a good old fashioned spanking she's probably never had in her life.
I have never cared for her acting nor singing. I tried to watch her show with a child I keep, but thot it was so awful. Overacting is an understatement where she is concerned. She may be 18 but it doesn't mean she knows what the world is all about so she is going to abuse the "age" thing and end up getting into all kinds of trouble.
Her dad helped her along the way so she need not abuse his love for her. If she can make it into acting I feel anyone could. Seriously!

i don't understand when music and telivision became more about all of the bs and the drama rather than the acting or the music.
but either way billy ray needs to realize it's not called show "friends" it's called show business and everyone is going to do what they can to make their money. and they are going to destroy your daughter in the process and when she's all tapped out and washed up, they will move on. and with any luck she won't have to be monitored by you as an adult like brittany spears does with her father. but you take risks like that when you get into this business.

I was a concert promoter and had Billy Rey . Of all the artists that I have met he was the rudest, and most unfriendly. Really a nasty guy. I will never forget his attitude.
