Lady Gaga Explains Her Drunk Diet

Forget Atkins or South Beach. Lady Gaga is finally extolling the virtues of the diet Hollywood has really been hooked on for years -- the drunk diet.

Gaga chatted with the Sirius Morning Mash Up about whether she exercises to stay so thin. She does, but she also adheres to a strict diet plan.

"I am on the drunk diet," Gaga said. "I live my life as I want to, creatively. I like to drink whiskey and stuff while I am working. But the deal is I've got to work out every day, and I work out hung over if I am hung over. And it's about the cross-training and keeping yourself inspired. I have to say, I do a ton of yoga."

Yoga and whiskey does sound like a proper way to live, and if Gaga's recent Vogue cover is any indication, the diet part seems to work pretty well, too.

So, I get it! We drink, we "exercise", we drink, we drink, we drug, we think we have talent, then we start channeling everyone from Elton John to Madonna...No talent loser.

Anyone who would call Lady Gaga a no talent is laughably an idiot or jealous because she can obviously sing and play piano with virtuosity not to mention write hit songs on her own. Nothing manufactured like many other pop stars. Elton John would not get on a stage and perform with her if she had no talent. Also, nearly every single legendary artist in music history has at least used if not abused drugs or alcohol in their career from Jazz to Rock to Pop. They were great not because of it but in spite of it.

Drunk Diet. Big idea. Though maybe not quite as big as hollowing out the inside of a bagel to cut back on carbs (and make more room for the ice cream.)

She will self-destruct like so many before her. But, I worry because so many people have such a fascination with her even some mainstream people like Barbara Walters, etc. She is rediculous and will do anything, no matter how self-destructive, to get attention. I wouldn't buy one of her CD's if you paid me!
