Sarah Palin's Longtime Aide Pens Tell-All Book

We know her as a
reality TV star, author,
Bristol's mom, GOP darling and
'SNL' comedy muse. But for years, Frank Bailey knew
Sarah Palin simply as: the boss.
Once Palin's trusted Chief of Staff, Bailey is breaking ranks and planning a new tell-all memoir-- according to a new
AP report out of Juneau, Alaska -- based on his "thousands" of personal e-mails from his tenure working for the former Alaska governor, who was was inaugurated to the state's highest office in 2006 and abruptly resigned from the job in 2009.
A draft of the book, tentatively titled 'Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of our Tumultuous Years,' has leaked to reporters, with excerpts circulating the Internet. Meanwhile, Bailey's team deny involvement in the leak.
The manuscript allegedly states that Palin, before resigning as governor, wrote to Bailey and another aide, "I hate this damn job."
Palin's attorney did not respond Friday to news outlets' requests for comment.
Bailey rose from campaign volunteer to top administration official, and was a key figure during the 'Troopergate' scandal that captivated voters during Palin's failed run for vice president on John McCain's 2008 ticket. Bailey allegedly made the phone call trying to get a man fired -- a man who had been though a nasty divorce with Palin's sister; Bailey later became the target of an ethics investigation.
This is not the first time Bailey has taken a crack at telling his story. In 2009, he tried writing a Palin tell-all titled
'Renegade: Palin's Hatchet Man,' but the project fizzled.
"Since leaving the Governor's office," Bailey's book agent now says, via email, "Frank has been forced to reconsider his actions on Palin's behalf, in terms of his deep Christian faith and his allegiance to her as the standard-bearer for the conservative causes he still champions."
Regarding any leaked material, co-writer Ken Morris says unauthorized drafts are preliminary and subject to copyright protections, but confirms that he and Bailey (along with blogger Jeanne Devon, a frequent Palin critic) did "tons of research" for the tell-all tome.
Morris told
EW.com this weekend, "This is a fact-finding, truth-reporting endeavor....The source data for this book comes from Frank Bailey's experience and his own email accounts."
Devon, also a co-author on the book, calls Bailey "one of the few true Palin 'insiders.'" Known as AKMuckraker in the blogosphere, Devon says the writing team is "shocked and horrified" by the leak of their draft, "but the toothpaste is out of the tube, as they say."
In promoting the manuscript, an agent for Bailey describes his insights as "more necessary than ever, as the public will seek to learn as much as possible about the woman who seems to have her sights set on the national stage."

And conservatives don't lie? Look at the 8 years Bush Jr. spent in office. Even Reagan lied. Remember Irangate? Don't be so naive to think that Palin is honest, and this tell-all is so much liberal lies.
shut up NAZI!
This is so sad that you hate Democrats that much to want some person that cannot do the job. SO,SO,SAD.
Finally someone who knows this woman, who quits her job, gets a poor review as a parent, uses a crosshair to make her point (I do not think her example cause the shooting in Arizona) but it is still in poor taste with many examples that work effectively, and cannot answer a question as simple as what do you read. Guess she forgot to write it on her hand. I am begging, the GOP needs to show us someone who is qualified to be the President. Then take a huge step and dismiss her as someone who matters in the 2012.

A tell all book is one person's version of events, doesn't mean it is factual, just another way to cash in at the expense of someone else.

Tony, Tony, Tony~ I addressing you because you always think that by shouting you must have something significant to say. The truth is, no matter how much this former aid writes about the Palins, it will only be a FRACTION of what you~ yourself have written about the Palin family.
You , like 10 other people who've posted here today ( under various handles) are totally obsessed with the woman. Do you guys get up every morning and google the palin name just to find websites so you can write something you think is cleaver. Maybe you folks would be better off looking up self-help websites and trying to lead productive lives.
You are all such hypocrites!! If this was a tell all book on a Democrat, say, Obama, or Clinton, or even FDR, you would be ranting your heads off about how the author is a Traitor, a Republican, and "Should Be Shot", an oft used Democrat saying. I'll be lining up for the tell all on your lives, analyzing everything you ever said or wrote, all your secrets, including the time you picked your nose in third grade. Seriously people. Democrats should spend less time plotting the downfall of Republicans, and take a look at your own backyard. Why are you all so afraid of Sarah Palin??

Because she is
Because she is an IDIOT
To answer your last question, only an idiot would not be afraid of the consequences of a Palin/Palinite in the power of the Presidency. It conjures a picture of a very grim future, especially for our children and grandchildren.
I just love it when the left gets all lathered up. You libs are a joke and so afraid of Ms Palin...

Whose afriad of the big bad Sarah? Lol! The book will we hysterical. I'll check it out of the library. Wouldn't spend a dime on her or promoting her big bad self. Funny how she calls herself The North Star"group. But it was actually Frederick Douglas who published a newspaper called "The North Star"...betcha Sarah didn't know that?

Well, I'm all for libraries, but she didn't write this book, so she isn't going to get any money and it doesn't sound like the book is "promoting" her. You might read the article.
Yeah and I bet the stupid skank that whined "why are you'll afraid of sarah" doesn't know about Frederick Douglas either lol
Afraid of this twit? Hm.... naw...dont think so!!PLEEEZE! HAHa!!!

Seriously. Do we need a book to tell us what every sane, intelligent and non-fanatic person already knows? Palin is a self-centered, self-promoting imbecile that can care less about anything or anyone other than herself. If there is actually someone out there that hasn't figured that out yet, the book will only make them angry that someone is picking on their princess.

OOOOOOOO what a juicy bit of leak that is - she said she hated her hooverdam job. Give me a break! I will wager a breadstick that every president and governor in US history, got to the point of saying that! And Frank of the deep Christian faith, I would encourage you to check in your Bible and read again in Romans 13 about not dissing the boss. Are you serving God or mammon?
