Joe Jonas' Birthday Gift has Girlfriend Ashley Greene Screaming in Joy
Ashley Greene celebrated her 24th birthday in Las Vegas with boyfriend Joe Jonas and it was Jonas' gift to Greene that had her screaming.
PEOPLE is reporting that Jonas presented Greene a vintage gold Chanel charm bracelet and upon initially receiving the gift she wasn't entirely wowed by it.
Greene is quoted saying, "The funny thing about it is when I got it, my boyfriend said it's vintage Coach – and I was like 'Thanks so much.' And then I put it on and was like, 'Oh my god, this is Chanel,' "and then she let out a scream.
She continues, "It was very cute and sweet and adorable to me because my boyfriend gave it to me. Coach, Chanel, [it] makes no difference to him ... [But] I absolutely love it because he knows what I like."
But Greene reveals that her best gift was not the bracelet but that of her best friends flying in to celebrate the day with her in Vegas. She said, "The biggest gift to me was having my best friends fly in to celebrate with me."
And it must have been one helluva party. It is reported that the theme of the bash was Candy Land -- complete with oversized lollipops and an over-the-top, three-tiered birthday cake.
A source close to Jonas had told
PopEater recently that the singer and actor may be ready to
settle down with Greene.
"Even though Joe has had plenty of high-profile girlfriends in the past few years, he is impressed with Ashley's joy of life and dedicated work ethic," the source is quoted saying, "They are both well grounded and have a basic understanding of who they are."
Jonas is known for being a serial dater in Hollywood. He had a 2006 fling with pop artist AJ Michalka and had a solid relationship with
Taylor Swift two years later that ended badly when he dumped her over the phone. Then, he spent a year with Camilla Belle, who starred in a Jonas Brothers music video for the song 'Lovebug.' And then there was last year's romp with
Demi Lovato, who starred with Jonas in 'Camp Rock' and 'Camp Rock 2.'

"Coach" gets a ho-hum, but "Chanel" elicits a scream of joy?!?!?!? Careful, Joe—this girl could not possibly be more transparent in what she wants from your relationship. Golddiggers 'r' us!

That's not what it was about stupid. Did you not read it? She thought it was cute because he didn't get it because of the label. He didn't even know the difference. "Coach, Chanel, [it] makes no difference to him ... [But] I absolutely love it because he knows what I like." Idiot.
@Kay: Elle's point is that she's fickle about snubbing Coach but coos over Chanel. If "what she liked" was just the look of the piece itself her reaction wouldn't change between Coach or Chanel, but for her, the label made all the difference. The key words are in bold: "... makes no difference TO HIM" (extra clue, not HER). Well, I for one can't relate to that, it sounds shallow to me, but I don't make millions of dollars off sparkly-teen vamp flicks, either. So I'm not going to call you stupid, because I don't like calling people names, but maybe you should read it, too.
Wow, must have been a ssss-llll-oooo-wwww news day, huh?
