Justin Bieber Fearful of Fan 'Crushes'

Justin Bieber can no longer perform at concert venues without seats for fear of fans being seriously injured.
Rabid Bieber fans have forced the 'Never Say Never' singer's management to put their foot down and refuse to book the star at any arenas or other venues with standing-room only space.
Bieber's bodyguard, Kenneth Hamilton, recently told Rolling Stone that he fears for some of the young fans' safety, saying "You've got a mob pushing, and even if it's little girls, they're crawling on top of each other with their arms and elbows, and getting injured."
Safety and security issues regarding fans' 'fever' for Bieber have been an issue for quite some time. Last April, a Bieber concert in Sydney was
cancelled after fans broke down a crowd barrier and stampeded forward, crushing young fans against the stage.
In December, Bieber had to stop a fan fight in Pittsburgh, after several girls fought over a towel he threw into the audience.
Bieber has even had his own brushes with fans and had to escape on a segway from a mob of girls chasing him before a concert last summer in Glendale, Ariz. Most recently, over-zealous fans became frantic, even sending death threats, when Grammy winner Esperanza Spalding
beat out Bieber in the Best New Artist category. His rumored girlfriend, singer Selena Gomez, has also received similar threats from fans via Twitter.
The new restriction may also put an end to some of Bieber's smaller appearances, including CD signings, which the artist has cancelled in the past for security reasons.
Management has reportedly confirmed all seated venues for Bieber's upcoming My World tour in Europe, which kicks off in the UK on March 4.

Stain on humanity" REALLY REALLY..seriously?
He is a 16 year old kid, and what a bunch of aholes you all are..calling him wimp etc. If you don't like him, that is fine, but does it make you all feel real grown up and tough to be able to hide behind the internet and take cheap shots?
I am not a fan of his simply because I don't follow his music genre but I am certainly too ADULT to call him names and be so ignorant.
he needs to be worried about his education and vocabulary he is starting to talk like a HOOD instead of an educated young man, and get a haircut punk.

Justin Bieber "had to escape on a segway from a mob of girls"
Just plain hilarious. Is that actually faster than running or is he just such a diva now that he refuses to use his legs when not performing?
Who even thinks of segways without picturing Gob Bluth?

I find it hilarious, that grown men seem to be jealous of a 16 year old boy. Justin is no adult yet, but I would bet that he would not be like a grade schooler, calling others names.
Instead of our daughters listening to Justin, why not turn them towards Kayne West. Kayne would be better of a role model for the kids to swoon over?
It never makes ANYONE look better, or smarter, whan calling others grade school names. It only shows how miserable one is with their selves, and their lives.
Its better to work on ones self, than to look jealous of a boy.

If Bieber's afraid now... he should talk to Rick Springfield... far more scary when they are 40 to 50 years old and still doing it (though they are much easier to outrun). At least in Rick's case he has nearly 40 years of practice dealing with it all to fall back on. Of course, Bieber likely wont still be going by that time... Rick has gone long term by having greater individual talent than most teen stars from the start... he is a very strong songwriter, musician, and singer. Bieber has a huge team creating his overall product and is far more likely to be the IT thing now and a has-been later. Trying to shadow Usher can only go so far... and singing is something where you can easily find 100+ new very talented singers every year (as we see on American Idol). My guess is Bieber's career will take the Leif Garrett/Tiffany road... we shall see....
