Now he goes and upsets TV legend Barbara Walters after his daughter forced him to drop out of a scheduled interview on 'The View' this week."When Miley found out her father was scheduled to appear on 'The View' on Wednesday she went nuts," a family friend tells me. "Only last week, Billy shot his mouth off in GQ, and now he planned to sit down with [Barbara and Whoopi] and talk more crap about his family. No way would Miley or her team let that happen."

Uh excuse me but it is mama Tish who "controls" Miley so to speak. No one can control that girl. Mama Tish is with Miley 24/7/365. Mama Tish is Miley's manager. Mama Tish is Miley's producer who produced all those adult themed videos. What other mother (except for Diana Lohan) would let an under age daughter produce such raunchy videos? When Billy Ray expressed concern he was told it's none of his business. It's mama Tish who walks around dressed like a cheap bar ho & her daughter dresses the same way. It's mama Tish who has had numerous affairs including one with one of Miley's bodyguards. Why does the mother never get any blame? Mama Tish approves of Miley's partying. Mama Tish was at the party where Miley lap danced an older guy. Mama Tish was at Miley's 18th birthday party IN A BAR! So why does Miley run around like a wild child? Her mother did the same thing. It was mama Tish who had daughter Brandi with one musician, son Trace with another musician & then got pregnant with Miley by Billy Ray. When she got pregnant with Braison that was when Billy married her. None of the other musicians gave a damn.
Miley Cyrus is no Taylor Swift.

first if it wasn't for billy ray's name, miley might not be hanna montana. second miley is the teen who is half naked on mags, videos, internet. she is the one showing doing drugs for all to see, she is the one running mouth in every social ave. can we say spoiled, pampered brat, that fame made her believe she can dictate to even parents. remember paris, lohan, brittney..etc. as far as salina and bieber, she's using the "fever" to be notice. and isn't there laws in most states about over 18 with minors. money,money, it's the adults ruining the morals of our kids.

No, you don't need a 'license' to be a parent. There are many parents who make mistakes and wish they could go back and fix them but it just isn't possible. In Billy Ray Cyrus case, he is a kid himself...I mean look at the guy. He looks like a an older version of Justin Bieber!
Please! Billy Ray is not the bad guy - he's acting like a concerned parent. Which is more than can be said of a lot of parents today, especially parents of famous kids. I applaud him for bringing some serious issues out into the open, rather than trying to pretend everything is okay. I can see why he'd be tired of being the fall guy for everything that goes wrong. Yes, he should've been stricter with Miley - I think he realizes that now. At the same time, it sounds as though there are other people out there who don''t have Miley's best interest at heart. I think he truly cares about what happens to his daughter.

Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe HE canceled the appearance so that he doesn't further alienate his daughter. No matter what his feelings about HM & how Miley is growing up it is not the public's business & for him to put their family's business out there would make anyone upset not just Miley. All of you people saying Miley is being a brat or that she is a spoiled brat put yourself in her shoes. What if your parent when to your local paper and said those things about you without even trying to speak with you first? Can anyone honestly say they wouldn't be livid?
If he wants to be included in his daughters life & help her then he shouldn't be out there talking to the press, she should have to worry that anything she tells her dad will be spoken about in public. Michael Lohan has done nothing to make situation better with Lindsay Billy should learn from Daddy Lohans mistakes.

Excuse Me? He's forced to cancel? Well, at least most normal parents recognize that is the problem (letting your child dictate to you). I'm sure he was happy enough with the fame & money aspect. He's the bad guy for speaking out? Wait a minute, can anyone say, Britney? Lindsey? Paris? Charlie? Frankly, I'm waiting to hear the name Justin added to the list. Whatever the reason he spoke out or the timing of it shouldnt diminish the fact he did. If she cuts him off for this, it explains the relationship pretty well. Someone told her "No" and she reacted like a spoiled brat throwing a temper tantrum.

How does a daughter "force" her father to cancel anything. I'm pretty sure that as a parent, he can make whatever boneheaded mistakes he wants to. That's what her problem is. Not Disney or anything else. It's that the parent/child line is missing.

I think they both need to shut up . The damage has been done. He created this little no mannered brat so now he can live with it. I love the way people make millions and then when the show is over its the shows fault . Before this mess ends they all wish they had stayed on Disney. I dont see her doing anything for the long haul.
