Now he goes and upsets TV legend Barbara Walters after his daughter forced him to drop out of a scheduled interview on 'The View' this week."When Miley found out her father was scheduled to appear on 'The View' on Wednesday she went nuts," a family friend tells me. "Only last week, Billy shot his mouth off in GQ, and now he planned to sit down with [Barbara and Whoopi] and talk more crap about his family. No way would Miley or her team let that happen."

Sorry, Patsy, I should have said, "Cheer up Tish and Billy Ray, you still have Noah to control and screw up her life!" You're right, both parents are to blame. Point was that there is another little girl just about Miley's age, whom they have both been promoting, including wearing less than appropriate "Halloween costume" that will suffer the same fate unless they (both parents) get their act together. Am act of contrition now doesn't mean much unless they learn from their mistakes and not try to push their younger daughter into a similar situation. Remember Jamie Lynne Spears?

When did the line get drawn that the child, and she still is a child, can tell a parent what to do? He, like every parent, worries about his child or children and what they are involved in. She needs to start thinking about where she came from.
