Now he goes and upsets TV legend Barbara Walters after his daughter forced him to drop out of a scheduled interview on 'The View' this week."When Miley found out her father was scheduled to appear on 'The View' on Wednesday she went nuts," a family friend tells me. "Only last week, Billy shot his mouth off in GQ, and now he planned to sit down with [Barbara and Whoopi] and talk more crap about his family. No way would Miley or her team let that happen."

Just curious: did any one actually read his GQ interview? He takes responsibility squarely for failing as a parent, for letting Miley's handlers wave him off, for allowing Hannah Montana to destroy his family. Clearly, there were a variety of unhealthy, outside influences that have done a number on this young woman. He acknowldedges that as a fact - not as an excuse; and then he nails himself for permitting them to seduce his daughter. He said he's "scared for" Miley - and well he ought to be. She's headed for Lohan-ville, big time - what decent parent wouldn't be terrified of that possibility? So, the fact that he admitted all this in an interview is some kind of scarlet scandal? I hope other parents who want to be their kids' friend more than their mom or dad will take note and change their outlook - before they end up with their own "Miley" problem.

I believe Billy Ray needs to let Miley grow up instead of trying to shelter her. She is what 18 years old now. I also heard running his mouth about Disney and Hanna Montana supposedly ruining his family. I think if anyone ruined his family it was the two of them. Hannah Montana was Miley's break into fame cause otherwise she wouldn't have anything; except for daddies money to play with. Didn't her last movie flop?
