Bridget Moynahan: Tom Brady Wasn't in Delivery Room

Model-turned-actress Bridget Moynahan graces the March cover of More Magazine, and in the accompanying interview she opens up about the difficulty of being a single mom, raising a child in the public eye and why Tom Brady wasn't in the delivery room for the birth of their son.

"[Tom] was not in the [delivery] room," Moynahan revealed for the first time in More [via PEOPLE]. "He was there on that day and came in afterwards. He certainly wasn't holding my hand while I pushed." She said she got most of her support from her family and friends.

But even though she's raising their son, 3-year-old John Edward Thomas, as a single mother, she's happy. She said, though she doesn't think "any girl grows up dreaming of being a single mom ... There's not a second I regret having a child on my own."

On raising a son with Tom Brady and his wife, model Gisele Bundchen:
"I never made a comment about Gisele or Tom publicly. I have a relationship with these people on a daily basis. I'm raising a child, and it's public. The media creates these dramas, and that's not what's happening in my life."

On their blended family:
"My son has two loving parents and an extended family, whether it's cousins or stepmothers or boyfriends. My son is surrounded by love."

On her new boyfriend, 'Charlie's Angels' director Joseph "McG" McGinty Nichol:
"He's witty, he's smart, he's incredibly funny, he's got incredible taste, and he comes from a great family. He's the salt of the earth but also very successful in the crazy business that we're in."

She seems like a sweet person. Tom took a step down dumping her and taking up with Grizzly, but we don't know what happened in the relationship, but she is better off without him.

WHo are to judge anyone's life? We aren't there day to day with these people. Who are we to judge anyone? What makes you so saint-like? She, herself, said that the boy is surrounded by love and that the media creates drama for morons like you to eat it up.

Not all men are good father's, so if you think this woman is not wife material, put on a condom and that will prevent a little boy from being, someday, terribly confused and unhappy his parents weren't married. It's a stigma for life.

It's Hollywood; most of the people there are single parents, or they jump in and out of relationships liek changing sheets. Bridgette seems like a decent person. You can't make people stay together because she is pregnant. That is something they should have taken precautions against, before it happened. Now that the son is here, she seems like a great mom, and he seems to take a role in his son's life. Tom has just gotten so out there with his nutty wife. Hopefully, Gisele will remember she is the step-mom and know where her place is in the dynamics of things.
