Jon and Kate 'Miss Each Other'; Settling Into More Normal Lives
Jon Gosselin is doing everything he can to win back the love of ex-wife,
Kate, including getting a real job to impress his ex.
"They both realize how much they miss each other," a friend of the couple's tells me. "Neither one of them have been really happy since their ugly split and would love to turn back time to the point where they were both in love before fame took over."
Jon recently traded his Ed Hardy shirts for a hardhat and scored a job with Green Pointe Energy, a Pennsylvania-based renewable energy company. The former reality star and computer techie spends his days installing solar panels and doing other good-for-the-planet deeds.
"Jon is in a great place," a friend of the father of eight told me last month. "He is happy and knows what a fool he made of himself after his split from Kate."
Of course the rehabilitation of Jon began last October when he publicly acknowledged his bad choices and apologized to his ex-wife and kids.
"I am acutely aware of the mistakes I made in 2009 and I am ashamed of the choices I made," Jon wrote on Twitter. "I have apologized to Kate, my family, and to my friends. Through counseling I have learned to own my actions. My goal is to move forward in a positive direction."
So after the ups and downs of 2010, the couple have found peace again, especially now that the cameras have gone away. As everything has started to return to normal so have Jon and Kate with Jon now working in green construction and Kate turning to being a full-time mom again.
"After the split the both of them were out of control. Kate thought she was going to be dating Brad Pitt, and Jon was sure he was going to be a superstar. Neither one of them found what they were looking for when they were single and have both come to the conclusion that maybe they are right for each other."
Plus, it wouldn't hurt ratings on next season's show! Just saying ...

I watched the show the first few years. In fact, it was my first reality show to watch. Believe me, you guys can give Jon heck, but no one could live with Kate. Did anyone see her act-out on Sarah Palin's reality show? Omgosh, that's Kate. Jon, at heart, I think is a good guy. Just super super immature. But, I can see him going thru some self-growth, but Kate, she first must admit mistakes, many of them and be accountable. She has said a few times she, of course, made mistakes. But, I never believed her. And after Sarah Palin's show, which was just 3 or 4 mos. ago, the lady is still to me the most selfish self-centered woman on earth. This may be, as many of you said, a ploy for ratings, but I may give them another chance, until Kate and that hatefilled mouth opens up again. And Jon needs to quit chain smoking. Nasty looking on him for some reason, more than on others. I think it is knowing how bad his breathe is around his children. Just saying....

Babs, You said it all when you talked about Kate on Sarah's show!! IT WAS TERRIBLE!! She was worse than any kid could act and talk about being unappreciative!! OMG!! I felt sorry for Sarah, but got a kick out of her husband, just standing there fishing alone in the rain just to BE AWAY FROM KATE!! I never saw 1 smile on her face, but the kids were having a ball. She had her nanny with her, she did not move out from under that tent to help with her children around the fire, doing marshmellows, she was a horrible witch!! Rude from the get go!!
This was a toxic couple bringing out the worst in each other. I stopped watching the show cause she treated him with such disrespect. Kate was such a mouthy b**ch i was ashamed for him.
Even in public she did not let up. He should keep running for the hills and find himself a woman who knows how to treat a man.

Kate has Christie Brinkley syndrome; loves attention, man hating and being photograped. She will do anything to get back on tv again and that includes reuniting with Jon (in front of the camera only).
America is over Jon & Kate. You had a good run, now grow up and parent those poor, confused, exploited children.

I don't even know who these people are so what have they contributed to our society that could be considered significant? Must be actors or some other form of imitators or surface air heads. Hollow little images with nothing significant to personally contribute to society.

They have contributed to over-population. The world is being smothered with humans. It can't survive at this rate.
Oh no, Anything to get in the news. At least he has a job - something a lot of people would love to have. Kate is not through with the public, she has to have more money to pay for her trips to the saloon, spa, etc.... A stay-at-home mom now? Don't think for a second she is. You think he has STD? How about Kate? She has not been pure. He would be a fool to go back to her. She hasn't changed. And their kids are getting worse as they grow up.

You are correct about spelling, but you need to learn about punctuation. I am a professional editor and proofreader and I could barely follow your run-on sentences. I wonder where some of these posters get their educations; their lack of the basics is woefully apparent and reflects on whatever message they are trying to get across.
And why does she go to an expensive hair saloon in New York to have her extensions taken care of? Aren't there beauty parlors in Pennsylvania? And why does she need a bodygaurd? If that's what he is.

Good luck to the both of them. It's about time that they settled down and realised what they wanted. Also, it's a good thing that the cameras have gone away for right now. Now they can try to work on being a family again. I hope and pray that everything works out and that they figure out what is BEST for the kids.....2 parents.

Geez Rob you will print anything. I am sure Kate does miss all the things that Jon used to do for the kids. She now has to pay someone to do it. Jon would never want to go back to the shrew and subject himself to the daily tongue lashings. Enough, geez I truly wish they would both disappear from everything. Get off my TV, off my mags I read, off of everything. Keep the kids PRIVATE for a change.

Kate would be a fool to go back with him! Jon is in a good place, please he just misses the money he had before child support and has to do labor work now every day and hates it. Please he is just ploting his next move! This guy is slippier than a snake oil sailsman! Kate is now sexy, beautiful and single! She has no use for Jon, please she can get sex anywhere why should she need that weeseal? Kate, just step over him and keep walking. These boots are made for walking!
