Rosie O'Donnell and Girlfriend Call it Quits

Rosie O'Donnell has ended her relationship with Tracy Kachtick-Anders, her girlfriend of over a year, Page Six reports.

The former 'View' co-host, who celebrates the ninth anniversary of her coming out this week, began her relationship with Texas-based Kachtick-Anders, an artist and mother of six, in December 2009.

O'Donnell, a mother of four, said of their mixed bunch, "Tracy has six kids, she lives next door ... It's a lot! We're the Gay-dy Bunch! It's a challenge, but when you fall in love with someone, they come with a whole bunch of things, including children."

A source for the Post says, "They have definitely split up, but it is very complicated because their kids are very close. They still spend a lot of time together."

Prior to her most recent relationship, O'Donnell was married to former Nickelodeon executive Kelli Carpenter from 2004 to 2007, although O'Donnell waited until 2009 to go public with their split. O'Donnell and Carpenter have remained friendly co-parents for the sake of their four children, with the TV star saying of the breakup, "We're a family, we remain a family ... Kelli and I love each other very much, and we are working on our issues."

The 48-year-old comedian is reportedly seeking a similar level of civility in her split with Kachtick-Anders, who recently moved herself and her children into a new home.

what makes her and unfit parent is the fact she cannot stay in a stable relationship for any length of time.the only reason she got those kids is because she is loaded and good people in great relationships cannot get kids as easy as she did.not to mention the fact she has suffered from depression her whole life and god knows what kind of meds she is on.woman has been angry and unhappy for a long time and it seems know one can handle being with her.is that fair to any kids????????????????

I agree with you about the adoption thingy but......in rosies case it is much better than procreation. I am surprised that ANYONE could last a year with her. I would take a death sentence instead. We can ALL agree on that.

Its not that she got divorced that makes her a bad parent its the fact she is a very unstable human being in general and from her actions obviously not fit to make parenting decisions...What do you call Rosie in a snuggie??? A Pig in a Blanket.

She may be gay and she may be ugly to some but she happens to be a good mother/father to those children. She does not abuse them and there are a great number of straight couple married or unmarried, who abuse their children all the time.
