Sofia Vergara on The TalkSofia Vergara now has fashion designers clamoring to create custom gowns for her. But before she was famous, the 'Modern Family' actress couldn't find anything to wear to black-tie industry events.

Dresses lent to her were usually size 0, she said on 'The Talk.' "I could never wear like really fashionable things ... I couldn't even pick a color or a designer."

Vergara was advised to lose weight and shown photos of other actresses on the red carpet. She responded, "They might look better in pictures, but I look better naked!" Watch the video after the jump.
