Ted Williams, the Homeless Man With the Golden Voice, Gets Reality Show Ted Williams' meteoric rise to fame came with an equally rapid downfall, but it seem that things are looking up for the formerly homeless man with the golden voice.

TMZ reports that Williams has just inked a deal for a reality show, which will begin shooting in two weeks.

According to Williams' rep, the show, titled 'Second Chances at Life,' will follow Williams' journey from homeless man to national sensation, and perhaps even the radio announcer's recent, brief stint in rehab for substance abuse.

The show will be shot in Williams' hometown of Brooklyn; in Ohio, where he spent many years living on the streets; and in Los Angeles, where he's been cooling his heels since leaving rehab.

Williams, a voice-over artist who has used his "God given gift" to promote Kraft products and the Cleveland Cavaliers, will dedicate the second season of his reality show to helping others who need a second chance.

DoraHelen he already has a girlfriend. I saw her on Dr.Phil. She was on drugs too and she sure looked like it! I hope that they are both able to get their lives back on track.

You don't believe in giving a person a second chance???
I wish him well...if he succeeds....great...if he's on the street again, well, that's his choice....he probably won't get a 3rd chance....

Ted has a beautiful voice for broadcasting and has been given every opportunity to turn his life in a posiive direction .. but my personal opinion is that he is on a slippery slope toward returning to his old ways. And whether we admit it or not, most of will nod, shake our heads and say (if to no one other than ourselves) "I knew this would happen .. .."

A show about helping others from falling into homelessness...Why don't they start with this low life!!! This bum deserted his family and chose to do drugs and steal from others to support his habits. He has an extensive arrest record yet the media makes him out to be some kind of inspiration to others. How about some sympathy for the victims of Mr. Williams' crime spree over the last 10 years!!!!!!! He will be back on the street shortly doing what he loves .....stealing and doing drugs!!!!!

Eveyone deserves a second chance at life. Kudos to Ted Williams for trying his hardest in turning his life around. I came from the poverty that he knows (addiction, governmental oppression, toxic relationships from family and friends...) and at the age of 49, I am now a woman attending an Ivy League college. I am finally living my dreams on my terms! But I have part of my past that I am not proud of. How can I expunge my past? Can I have a second chance too?

I was charmed by his story and I sincerely hope he surrounds himself with good people who have his best interest at heart and will keep him accountable for staying sober. But then, monkeys might fly out of my butt too! Nah, I hope he doesn't blow the 'second' chance God has handed him on a silver platter.

I won't be watching Ted's reality show. He life style isn't worth the air time... TV programs must be really hard up for material these days.
