Friend: Lindsay Lohan 'Terrified' of What Lies Ahead

Judge Keith L. Schwartz left little doubt in court on Wednesday:
Lindsay Lohan is
"going to jail" if she averts a trial and resolves her felony grand theft case in his courtroom, a declaration that has left the actress quaking in her designer boots.
"I'm not sure if she can survive this," a friend of Lindsay's tells me. "She is so terrified and frightened that we all fear her addictions will kick in again to help her numb the fear."
Danette Meyers, the deputy DA in the case, tried to cut a deal with Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, offering her eight months in jail and probation, but Holley rejected the offer as she would not accept any hard time time for her client.
When Lindsay faces Judge Schwartz again on March 10, she'll need to decide whether she's taking a deal and pleading guilty, or moving closer to an actual trial.
"I get the impression you are not going to accept the DA's offer," Judge Schwartz said. "That's the feeling I got."
A judge not associated with this case tells me Lindsay made a huge blunder by not accepting the offer.
"Lindsay's preliminary hearing and probation violation case will now be heard at the same time," my source said. "So even if Lindsay is found not guilty of stealing she will be found guilty for her probation violation and sent to jail."

Way to many chances, you or me would be in jail, no questions asked. She should take the plea deal, that sentence would be probably less than a trial sentence. But Lilo probably thinks she will not go to jail, as usual.

I hope she goes to jail...... Throw the damn book at her....

She shouldn't go to jail.. let her pay for the darn cheap necklace and get over it. She just had a quick case of the Winonas.

Hey moron go out today and stael a 2500 dollar necklace and try to give it back if your caught and see what happens.......Idiot!
Except her quick case of the 'Winonas' is considered a felony...and she's already on probation. And it's illegal to steal, period. (and she has a history of stealing and supposedly the D. A. is prepared to bring former victims of hers to testify...(NO clue if that info is accurate...)
Now I'm far from a Lindsay supporter, but if shes not found guilty of the theft how could she be guilty of violating probation?

that's what I was wondering.
Why is it she's only scared AFTER she's done something wrong?
Just as stupid as death row inmates finding "religion".

Yes....its unfortunate that almost always it takes a TRAGEDY for a person to call upon their God, and be saved from themselves....
What tragedy did you experience?
What LIES ahead is part of her own LIES!

Sorry Lindsay, there's no sympathy here! I can't wait to see you behind bars.

Do they make a low cut, sexy orange jump suit in her size?
I think she should have taken the plea deal and just done the jail time. Now if it goes to trial either way she will go to jail at least for breaking the terms of her probation. Also in a jury trial unless every jury member is so star stuck by her which I highly doubt, they will find her guilty of the theft. After all when you leave a store with something without paying for it it is stealing not borrowing.

Although I find Lindsay and her behavior sick, I'm not understanding how she would be in violation of her probation if shes found not guilty at trial.
Well its about time!! Lindsay Lohan is no different than anyone else and needs to be treated that way. Maybe if she gets a year in prison she will get the idea that she is not above the law and can not do whatever she wants. Which I believe is her way of thinking. She needs to be taught a lesson!!

YOU KNOW AT ALL TIMES WHAT YOU ARE DOING. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TRYING TO IMPRESS ? GIRL YOU NEED SOME HARD JAIL TIME THEN AND ONLY THEN YOU MIGHT JUST WAKE UP IN THE REAL WORLD INSTEAD OF YOUR FANTASY ONE YOU ARE NOT ABOVE THE LAW!

MADAME LOHAN SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT BEFORE SHE DID! I GUESS THE JUDGE DID NOT SEE THE HALO ON HER TODAY EITHER. SHE THINKS SHE CAN DO NO WRONG.

It is amazing how everyone has forgotten all the good she has done in the past. She is an inspiration to me and my daughters. The state is trying to get back at her for the loss in state pension values caused by her father's illegal Wall Street activities. If the police followed any one of us around day after day, they would have all sorts of things to trump up. Why do you think they have let this go on for so long without jailing her? They pick on a poor girl for her father's sins. Need more evidence? What about the Letterman fiasco? Who caused that? Lindsay? No. Her father.

Absolutely correct Fred. On Monday night when she was driving 58 MPH in a 30 MPH Zone...was it Letterman's or Michaels fault? When she refused to take a drug test at BF Center, your fault Fred or mine? When she was driving not once but 2 times under the influence and almost killed 3 innocent people...uh who's fault? Fred, you are a real gem....I mean it. I think we should promote you. I will submit the paperwork.
Her lawyer probably encouraged her to take the deal. Ms. Lohan probably insisted on saying No.
