Friend: Lindsay Lohan 'Terrified' of What Lies Ahead

Judge Keith L. Schwartz left little doubt in court on Wednesday:
Lindsay Lohan is
"going to jail" if she averts a trial and resolves her felony grand theft case in his courtroom, a declaration that has left the actress quaking in her designer boots.
"I'm not sure if she can survive this," a friend of Lindsay's tells me. "She is so terrified and frightened that we all fear her addictions will kick in again to help her numb the fear."
Danette Meyers, the deputy DA in the case, tried to cut a deal with Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, offering her eight months in jail and probation, but Holley rejected the offer as she would not accept any hard time time for her client.
When Lindsay faces Judge Schwartz again on March 10, she'll need to decide whether she's taking a deal and pleading guilty, or moving closer to an actual trial.
"I get the impression you are not going to accept the DA's offer," Judge Schwartz said. "That's the feeling I got."
A judge not associated with this case tells me Lindsay made a huge blunder by not accepting the offer.
"Lindsay's preliminary hearing and probation violation case will now be heard at the same time," my source said. "So even if Lindsay is found not guilty of stealing she will be found guilty for her probation violation and sent to jail."

Janya: The necklace gets "related" to the drug case because Lindsay was on probation for the drugs/drinking/DUI when she stole the necklace. Another offense is a probation violation.

At this rate I can only see one type of film industry that she'll find work in. I'm pretty sure I don't have to spell it out, but I'm going to say that it rhymes with CORN. lol.

After reading the entries on here it's amazing how most everyone's mentality is to throw the book at her. Now I'm not condoning breaking the laws--especially all the ones she appears to have--but what happened to our deeply held, and fiercely revered belief that is stated (I think) in the Constitution: Innocent until proven guilty? If all of us try and convict everyone by the court of public opinion, then what praytell do we need a court system for anyway?
I know...how about making all violations of the law capital offenses, and give everyone a handgun--that way we could accuse, try, convict, and execute even the little 7 year old boy that 'stole' the candy bar from the local convenience store!!!
What a wonderful country we live in!!!

Throw the book at her........Let it knock her upside the head...maybe it'll knock some sense into her.
Throw her in the slammer with Bubba..... but that's probably what she wants.........

oh please..she's been thumbing her nose and getting away with things since 2007, when she got the first dui.. the drinking/driving/drugs and three known thefts of things...she and her inner circle have shown repeatedly that they all think she's above the law..she deserves jail time ..far as being a star..drama queen doesn't factor into star status..the woman hasn't done any thing remotely good in movies since mean girls in 2005...

Any normal person charged with grand larceny would not have a second court date after the arraignment, don't get it, how did that happen. When you have a prelim you plead guilty or not guilty and a court date is set for trial, in her case she gets another court date with a different judge!! whats up with that? celebrity status I guess, I for one hope she goes away and we don't have to read about her for a long while.

LOHAN IS A DISGRACE!!! IF THAT WERE MY DAUGHTER , OR ANYONE ELSE ; THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN PUNISHED LONG AGO. WHERE DOES SHE GET ALL THE MONEY TO SUSTAIN THE GLAM LIFESTYLE FOR HERSELF AND ALL OF HER RIDICULOUS FAMILY?

LOHAN HAS BEEN GETTING AWAY WITH STEALING FOR YEARS. SHE MAY BE AN ADDICT BUT HER FAMILY HAS ENABLED HER FOR THE MONEY HE STILL BRINGS THEM. WHEN THAT DRIES UP ; SHE WILL BE TREATED LIKE THE REST OF US. I DOUBT IF ANY PRODUCER WOULD HIRE HER WITH HER TRACK RECORD. I JUST HOPE SHE DOESN'T KILL SOMEONE ELSE ON HER WAY BACK FROM THE CLUBS NEXT TIME!

She has had so many chances..Maybe this will be her rock bottom, and she"ll get her life together.I hope so.But she needs to go to jail and know that she is no better than you or I..Good Luck...And God Bless. P.S. GROW UP!!!!

Being stupid isn't usually a valid reason for being incarcerated, but in this skank's case an exception should be made. Her blatant disregard for the law and the justice system in general is clearly shown by her willingness to appear in court with her boobs hanging out of her dress. Money or no money, and talent or no talent, a skank is a skank and a criminal is a criminal...buh bye now....

BS talks, and money walks, every time.
I do look forward to what her lawyer has to say in her defense in March. I wonder what made Lindsay think she could get off on this one again. What the judge says in front of cameras, and off of the cameras, might be two different things.
