Uh-O: Rosie and Oprah Have Their Very OWN Rift

Rosie O'Donnell has just split from her girlfriend of over a year, Tracy Kachtick-Anders, but the former TV queen has another relationship problem to deal with, and it involves her powerful new boss, Oprah Winfrey.

"Oprah and Rosie have not been seeing eye to eye on the tone of Rosie's new show" on OWN, an insider with knowledge of the situation tells me. "Oprah sees it as a friendly daytime talk show where viewers get to spend an hour with the old Rosie they used to love. Rosie, on the other hand, thinks the show should be more political and a place where she can express her liberal views."

Oprah confirmed that she gave Rosie a warning before moving ahead with the new show, telling her she "better behave" on OWN. Oprah even visited Rosie at her home.

Her account: "Rosie said, 'I know you're here to assess how crazy I am.' I said, 'Basically, yes. I'm doing a crazy check.'"

The check, however, doesn't appear to have been thorough enough, with Rosie already annoying Oprah by resisting her pick for executive producer.

"The two are disagreeing over staff," my source tells me. "Oprah wants Rosie to use an executive producer that she knows and trusts while Rosie insists she be able to pick her own, fearing whoever Oprah picks will be a spy. It's a bad way to start off, considering they haven't even taped a single show yet."

Something that might never happen if Rosie doesn't learn the lesson soon: Oprah is the boss!

I think that Oprah is doing Rosie a favor by even letting her have her own tv show. No one else seems to want her. She is NUTS and always wanting to spread her filthy agenda. I personally have no time for her!

There is only so much goody goody news a person can take. By saying news I mean anything that gives you knowledge of yesterdays, todays or tomorrows events. The queen of TV is telling the princess of TV to get on board or you may have to go back to eating beans. Just because Oprah jumped networks she owns this one. Straighten up Rosie or we may not find out who your new girlfriend is on your show. You may force Oprah to make us find out who she is in the gossip papers. I don't watch Oprah but I am glad she just didn't just jump up and retire. She could have retired after her first or second contract. Oprah doesn't need us but I think the world would really miss her. She does so much charity work with her money that part of that would have to stop. She is a great humanitarian to the world and I never hear her tooting her own horn. Oprah surely doesn't need the world but the world surely needs her !

I WON'T WATCH OPERS NETWORK I DO NOT LIKE HER PERIOD. SHE IS SO FULL OF HERSELF. I CAN'T BELIEVE THERE ARE THAT MANY STUPID PEOPLE IN THE WORLD THAT STILL WATCH HER. It's sad -the Rosie we all loved seems to be gone-I LOVED her show & her magazine but then she changed -its also sad that she adopted all those kids & now is flitting from girl to girl-no stability-sad. She will try to shove her homosexual agenda down our throats & most of us just want her to be funny & nice & kind, not angry on TV. She needs help not a TV show..

Don't watch Oprah but have a lot of respect for her. Rosie on the other hand, never have and never will watch her. She is obsessed with herself and her political dogma. I know her uncle and he says she has alianated herself from her family.

The thing that really bothers me is Rosie thinks the only view is her view. I do not like her attitude and stopped watching the View until she was off. I still don't watch it to often, because Joy has the same type of attitude. OWN has some good shows but I won't watch Rosie.

BIG MISTAKE putting this loud mouth disgusting Rosie on any
show. She is abusive, nasty, and quite frankly people now a day
don't want to spend leisure time with a pig like her. TV is to
enjoy, not be angry when watching, wishing you could put your

Oprah wasn't SMART ENOUGH to know NOT to fool with this woman?

Rosie O'Donald is sick. She needs so much help.... It just kills me how people talk about the GREAT OPRAH all the time. First of all, I'm not impressed with Oprah Winfrey and it just kills me how SHE, someone who is supposed to be so smart--doesn't even know NOT to fool with this woman, Rosie.
