Royal Wedding Snub: 'Queen Could Do Without' Fergie Drama

Being the former wife of the Queen of England's second son, Prince Andrew, who is the Duke of York, and being the mother of their children, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, why wasn't Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson invited to the upcoming royal wedding of
Prince William and
Kate Middleton?
The snub was made even more embarrassing for the Duchess of York because her daughters and Prince Andrew, with whom she maintains friendly relations, were invited and are planning to attend.
Although her office issued a statement saying Ferguson already had plans for April 29, the date of the wedding, she can't help but feel left out, especially when her entire family will be attending the most talked about royal nuptials since Princess Diana married Prince Charles on July 29, 1981.
"Sarah can act too open, too vulnerable and just too out there for the royal family's best interests," a royal watcher tells
PopEater. "In the decade and a half since her divorce from Prince Andrew, she has caused some drama that the queen could do without."
As longtime British royal family watcher Mark Saunders told CNN: "Fergie has long been considered an embarrassment to the royal family, ever since she was photographed having her toes sucked by her financial adviser at a villa in Saint-Tropez."
Over the years, during her many holidays spent at European spas and ski lodges and in Wellington, Fla., for the winter polo season, and Bridgehampton, N.Y., for summer polo, Ferguson has been photographed in controversial situations.
From partying all night and running barefoot along polo pony trails to naughty sunbathing at a millionaire's mansion while a guest in that home, Ferguson has not shown the type of discretion, decorum and discipline expected of an erstwhile royal wife.
Even worse, a divorced mother, who comes from a family which she has described as "country gentry with a bit of old money," should think about her reputation for the sake of her children.
Despite the substantial sums she's made from public relations jobs, endorsing Weight Watchers and writing children's books, Ferguson's own lavish lifestyle has come back to haunt her.
Last May, she was clandestinely filmed in a British News of the World sting operation where she promised on tape to obtain access to her former husband for more than $700,000 American dollars.
According to British press accounts of this damaging act, Ferguson told the reporter during the sting how to wire a payment to her bank account, then explained: "That opens up everything you would ever wish for. I can open any door you want, and I will for you. Look after me and he'll look after you ... you'll get it back tenfold."
Prince Andrew has denied having any knowledge of this meeting. In published reports, Ferguson confirmed this, admitting she was "regretful" and "devastated by the situation," adding that her finances were "under stress," though that was "no excuse for a serious lapse of judgment."
While the queen's former secretary Lord Charteris once described the Duchess of York as "vulgar, vulgar, vulgar," others are kinder in their assessment.
"Sarah is a nice person and can be a good businesswoman," a source who has worked with her tells PopEater. "She knows people all over the world but gets in over her head then doesn't know how to get out. The result has caused her a lot of embarrassment and heartache."

Cameo.. Camilla'S official title is the Princess of Wales.ETC .she chose Duchess Of Cornwall.not to pIss of people.like you.
Charles and Diana were arranged. They did not love each other. Maybe if he was allowed to marry who he wanted history would be different. Diana is not innocent in all of this. She had an affair-just look at Harry and the horse trainer-they are identical. Charles always has loved Camiila and she should be in attendance and whether she broke up Charles and Diana or not the turn may have been the same. As for Sarah, let it go they knew she was wild that is what Andrew loved about her. Maybe she should be allowed to attend the reception just to show her daughters the Queen can forgive for at least one day.

I love to rub one out while I'm looking at a photo of Queen Elizabeth. That puffy face and those wrinkles turn me on. I'd shake that hat off, if you know what I mean.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid we do know what you mean...
I know what you mean about the Queen. I imagine pulling down her granny panties to see the "grey garden". Dig?

Fergie was a breath of fresh air when she joined the Royal Family. She's just a normal woman with a rascally sense of humor. No better or worse than any of the royals. This kind of petty snobbery is disgusting. Especially when they're inviting her kids.
