CBS Shuts Down 'Two and a Half Men' Following Day of Charlie Sheen Rants

After two shocking and barely coherent outbursts from Charlie Sheen on Thursday, CBS and Warner Bros. Television shut down production of 'Two and a Half Men' for the rest of the season.

Early Thursday, Sheen slammed 'Two and a Half Men' co-creator Chuck Lorre, calling him a clown in a radio interview. Later in the day, in an interview with TMZ.com, he went even further saying he hated Lorre.

"I violently hate Chaim Levine [Chuck Lorre]. He's a stupid, stupid little man and a p***y punk that I'd never want to be like. That's me being polite. That piece of s**t took money out of my pocket, my family's pocket and, most importantly, my second family -- my crew's pocket. You can tell him one thing: I own him," Sheen ranted to TMZ.

Mere hours after Sheen's second interview, CBS and Warner Bros. Television released the following statement: "Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of 'Two and a Half Men' for the remainder of the season." TMZ was the first to report the news.

Charlie, I hope you read this. YOU SUCK!!! Sober up act like a real man and stay sober. Perhaps you should spend some sober quality time with your kids when your not working. Then maybe just maybe you wouldnt have time to pick up a bottle, play in the snow, or somehow get ahernia when your getting muffed up with pornstars.

Charlie is awesome.....he goes on vacation with porno stars as this is happening. HAHAHAHAHA....I love him. The show will go on, and the reason why is it's because it makes too much money. If you haven't noticed, network shows are terrible, and cable is eating them alive. This is a scare tactic.......it will be back sooner than you think. Keep rockin' those porn stars Charlie.

I don't know, I've worked for a lot of pricks maybe the guy deserved a public thrashing. Charlie no doubt has some issues but I don't know the whole story and I'm sure there's more to it than a few TMZ sound bites.

I don't feel sorry a bit for Charly Sheen. I feel for all of those who are now out of a job for the rest of the season because this ungrateful piece of worthless crap. Let him go and drink himself to death while bopping ho's. Who needs him. Please write him out and continue. This is a great show and I wouldn't want it to stop because of this.

Charlie is going down the wrong path. We will be reading about him in the Obits if he doesn't get help and be sincere about it. Most of us start out wanting people like him and LiLo to turn their lives around, but after a while you just get sick of their antics and don't really care what happens to them. Heres an Idea for a new show for you Charlie, A crack head bum who has it all and then loses it all, lands on the street with some sick Trani by his side. You could call it Half and Half Men.

Or better yet a reality T.V. show that follows you around while you score your drugs and look for Ho's, Its just a matter of time before you end up in Jail and then really get the treatment you so deserve.

You are pathetic. I was so happy when this show started, and even with your first couple times in rehab and all the other crap going on, I was wishing you well, but now, you deserve everything that is happening to you. The people I feel sorry for are your costars and the crew. They didn't ask to be put thru the ringer just because you are a drug and porn star addict. Oh and your children, good lord I hope you have some of that money put aside for them as they are going to need therapy!!

Nice to see CBS and the show grow a pair between them. What took so damned long?

I say, film one more show to close out the series. One in which Charlie Sheen does NOT appear (not even in a photograph) because his character has died in the non-glamorous, pathetic way all raging addicts eventually go out. Let the characters all rant about how stupid and thoughtless and selfish .... he was.
