February has been good to Eminem. The 38-year-old Detroit native took won Best Rap Album at the Grammys on Feb. 13, and now he's surpassed Lady Gaga on Facebook and hit 1 billion views on YouTube."Within the last few hours Eminem has become the world's most popular living person on Facebook," reads a Feb. 24 statement by social media tracker Famecount. Founder Daniel Dearlove says Eminem's online fame has skyrocketed in the past six months.
Eminem currently boasts 28.88 million Facebook fans, while Gaga falls slightly behind with 28.87 million; she spent eight months as the most "Liked" Facebook celeb, according to Famecount. A Michael Jackson page tops both stars with 29.13 million fans.
Meanwhile, Eminem joined the rarified air of Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber as the third star to notch 1 billion music video streams on YouTube.

If you people don't have anything nice to say about Eminen or Lady Gaga why bother reading about it. You most certainly don't have anything better to do or you wouldn't take the time to write your insults about other people. Wait I get it your jealous of their success that must be it.

Here's a thought, some people need to learn how to spell before they bash other people. Otherwise, we just believe you are an idiot.

The reflection of Mr. Em's true Popularity is only just beginning. Historically, he has changed the face of more than just music. The world is a different and better place because he is in it. Few can claim as much, and, none similar to the impressions he's made. There is no one who has been capable of such brillant, deep, multi-layered lyric expressionism.
As a society, it's only possible to use those we have in place. Accolades are never possible to hand down to someone who is so truly and clearly at levels the likes of which there are no measurement categories before, and quite possibly, ever again. Although we remain inept to measure genius, historians will have the luxury for such side chair debates while the intellectuals of our time are attempting to take notice. How to proceed with such an anamoly? Well, it is certainly a good problem we are fortunate enough to have.
This MAN can do Whatever, Whenever, Wherever he chooses and the World will follow, continue to talk, debate and simply Marvel.
