Ricky Gervais' Shocking Net Worth Revealed

Comedian
Ricky Gervais is worth a cool $80 million, according to the website
Celebrity Net Worth. Talk about bringing home the bacon!
The British funnyman took to his
personal blog to talk about his ever-growing back accounts.
"Wow! I think there must be a leak at my accountants..." he joked on the blog. "They are of course spot on. I know it sounds a lot, but remember, I donate a lot of this to good causes. (The Inland Revenue mainly.)"
Gervais, who came under fire for his mean-spirited Golden Globes
hosting gig in January, is the man behind both the U.K. and U.S. versions of 'The Office,' as well as 'Extras.' He's also had leading roles in the movies 'The Invention of Lying' and 'Ghost Town.'
Thanks to his entertainment endeavors, including his popular stand-up act, Gervais was named as one of
Time's Most Influential People of 2010.
But what's a guy to do with so many bones in the bank? It looks like he has some ideas up his sleeve.
"Now this is out, I will have to get my family a million scratch cards each for Christmas," he wrote, joking that he's also looking to spend internationally. "I have decided to use the rest of the money to take over Libya."

I personally do not find this man entertaining in the least. But obviously many do!

I do not either. I think he is annoying. I couldn't stand him even before the Golden Globes. He is NOT funny and I am sick of his "America owes me the world for bringing them The Office" attitude. Get over yourself Ricky.
I dont like his brittish type of humor but then again I dont get Lady Gaga either.

I personally am sick and tired of the English invasion of our TV shows and movies...I thought they learned 200 years ago when we kicked them out the first time...Is this country so talentless that we cannot find americans ...Why can't we send that usless twit Conan to England to torment...

I'm enjoying the British invasion. The humor is more appealing to me. I'll take it any day over crap like Everybody Loves Raymond or According to Jim.
Maybe he can get those janky english teeth fixxed now...

Why? Do we really need another Hollywood clone - yet another person to perpetuate what is "perfect"? I prefer a little individuality.
I have been a huge Ricky G. fan since the 1st episode of the Original British "Office." I love his sense of humor. He is an extremely talented genious and I'm happy for him that he has been so highly rewarded for entertaining us so wonderfully for all of these years.
If you have never watched the original Office series then you don't have a clue what he is capable of. I suggest you rent it and get caught up on why he is loved worldwide.
I for one am a lifelong fan!
