Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas Scuffle With Paparazzi

It seems as though a photographer had gotten a little too close for comfort to Catherine Zeta-Jones and husband Michael Douglas. The pair got into a scuffle with a paparazzo outside their London hotel yesterday evening, and it was all caught on camera. Catherine was heard screaming she was struck in the face by an overly aggressive photographer. Check out the photos after the jump to see Catherine react and Michael step in to defend her.

What a disastrous ending to what seemed to be a lovely day for the family. Catherine had her husband and children alongside her as she received the honor of being named Commander of the Order of the British Empire from Prince Charles earlier in the day for her accomplishments in film and her work with charities.

Paparazzi are a bunch of low life losers who do not want a real job. They caused Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed to an early grave.

I don't care or want to see their stupid pictures of stars private lives. Taking picture of stars in swim suits, or
who they are with, if they have a tummy, don't care.

Maybe many years ago pictures where important, now the pictures are old .

I cannot believe people read this crap.

I'm sure Catherine Zetta-Jones would be far more upset if the paparazzi paid no attention to her at all. She strikes me as a diva. And considering she "negotiated her marriage contract" with Michael Douglas before marrying the "love of her life".... she no fainting violet either. Catherine is a tough cookie who gets what she wants.

These people who follow people around to take their photographs are nothing but leeches. They have no talent whatsoever so they live off those people who do. They are not "professional" anything. They are lowlives with expensive cameras.

well this is the price you pay for success...it probably scares them more when they stop hounding them. However these camera bugs get paid good money for thier pics...its what they do. There just should be some better control of them. Its sad stars have to lose all sense of privacy just for being succesful in thier trade...ive always thought they were extremely over paid for just standing in front of a camera playing make believe...but the cost of security for them requires it. Whats more sad though..is that they have to do it...the general public/fan base is responsible for it.

I'm glad to see that he defended her. I am not a fan of CZJ but she should be given a little space. These cameras in your face would make anyone nuts.

Just think if Mr. Douglas was not rich...........he would not have survived the oral cancer. The nerve of him to be fighting & carrying on like a two year old. That old bag he is married to should be ashamed of herself. She should crawl back under a rock in Wales and stay there!

Papparazzi are about the LOWEST form of Human Garbage on the Planet. The the readers and viewers that GAWK at that garbarge are right along there with them. Michael Douglas should have taken the guys camera and cracked his head open with it.
