Kim Zolciak's Assistant, Sweetie: 'NeNe's Traumatizing My Life'

Kim Zolciak's assistant, Sweetie Hughes, is firing back at her 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' co-star, NeNe Leakes, after Leakes' comments prompted a 'Free Sweetie' campaign that has left Hughes traumatized.

On the penultimate episode of the season, Leakes said of Zolciak's behavior toward Hughes, "You call her a slave, you call her everything. You say hurtful, hurtful things."

Following a call from Leakes, Atlanta radio host Rick Smiley launched the 'Free Sweetie' campaign that's left Hughes, "so upset," according to Zolciak. "She's beside herself," she tells Life & Style.

Hughes, who defended Zolciak on the epsidode, telling Leakes she's "nobody's slave," says of the attention, "They're doing it for Black History Month, and it offends me. They have pastors calling into the radio station and praying for me. They've taken it too far."

As for the motivation behind the attack, Hughes says it's not Zolciak's behavior that provoked Leakes. "NeNe's jealous that she's not as close to Kim as I am," says Hughes. "I've known Kim for 11 years, since I was a kid. Kim's a great friend to me. NeNe's traumatizing my life. She's bringing hell to it."

While Leakes apologized to her fans for the "embarassing" on-air fight, she has yet to extend the olive branch to either Hughes or Zolciak.

For Zolciak, who is expecting a child with Atlanta falcons player Kroy Biermann this June, the fight was the last straw for both her and Sweetie. "I never want to speak to NeNe again," she says.

Kim and Sweetie need to put it to rest, noone cares if she's traumatized, which I doubt she is, well I guess the "old saying is true, all press is good press"

they won't know traumatize until kandy refuses to write and produce her anymore music and her baby daddy sobers up and sees how manly she looks.

NeNe is a brut.. Sweetie should sue her for slander. NeNe wants to always holler about how she don't care about something but keeps Kim's name in her mouth constantly everywhere she goes.

NeNe is an angry black woman. She acts like she has a chip on her shoulder and it might very well be the collapse of her marriage but that is no reason to take it out on Kim. She has an opportunity with her fame from Housewives and it would behoove her to turn it into something positive.

Why is everyone hating on Nene, Nene keeps it real and does not sugar coat. Yes Nene talks behind peoples back but is not afraid to say it to their face when need be. Kim is crazy and annoying and so is Sweetie. Sweetie obviously has self esteem issues if she thinks ok for Kim to talk to her the way she does. She is in a abusive relationship and doesn't even realize it.

this woman is not traumatized. it's easy to see she doesn't have any respect for herself-walking around barefooted, allowing kim to talk to her any kind of way and make her do things that would seem to me to be kinda humiliating. kim totally disrespects her, and for her to allow it is a very good indication that she lacks respect for herself. it doesn't seem like nene is the bad guy in this situation. she just said what many other people were thinking. and kim is no innocent. she says just as much crap as nene, but she plays the victim and doesn't take responsibility for any of the negativity. she starts stuff and then go around bad mouthing nene and acting like nene is out of her mind when she herself has acted just the same.
