Lily Allen Responds in Anger to Kanye West's Tweet on Abortion

Ever since Kanye West created a Twitter account last July, the rapper has carried his antics over to the social networking site with little censorship. After all, critics and fans have come to expect ridiculous rants and senseless tweets from the 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' creator, and yesterday's was no different.

West took to his Twitter account Wednesday night to express his sentiments on a very controversial topic: abortion. The rapper also voiced his concerns over the same women he raps about terminating pregnancies purposely.

"An abortion can cost a ballin' n***a up to 50gs maybe a 100. Gold diggin' b*****s be getting pregnant on purpose. #STRAPUP my n****s!" he tweeted.

While the tweet surely raised eyebrows, it also caused rumors to circulate if West himself had been involved in the scenario he was writing about. To quell inquiring minds, he immediately shot down the talk. "It ain't happen to me but I know people," he wrote.

As a result of his bold statements, U.K. singer Lily Allen responded angrily to the rapper. "@kanyewest never has a tweet put me in such a bad mood. This is wrong on so many levels," she tweeted to West.

Perhaps the topic struck a chord with Allen. Last November she suffered a miscarriage six months into her pregnancy. The 'Smile' singer announced in early August 2010 that she was three months pregnant. Allen, 25, had an earlier miscarriage in 2008.

I never seen or met anyone, that was as full of him self, as kayne. The guy is hated by everyone, and yet he still thinks hes specail. As far as these 'twits' we hear about him writting, its all for shock value, its the only way he can make the news.
Its the only way he knows, to try sell his 'music', that only a misguided teenager would want to hear.

Lily Allen was in a relationship when she got pregnant and suffered a miscarriage. I empathized with her loss but, Kayne isn't referring to planned pregnancies. Kanye is talking about the scandalous sexual encounters singers have with groupies. Lately, Kayne has been dumbing himself down to sound like he's from the ghetto. This man is college educated, his mother was a professor, both parents were social activists. I'm aware his mother's sudden death/ murder was a shock to him but, enough is enough. He needs to go back to the brilliant artist that wrote and sang Jesus Walks.
