Oscar Opening Montage Puts Franco and Hathaway Into 'Inception'

The Oscars' opening montage was goofy as always, in an awesome pre-taped clip featuring co-hosts James Franco and Anne Hathaway superimposed into Best Picture nominees including 'The Social Network,' 'Black Swan' and 'True Grit.'

The montage's plot had Franco and Hathaway attempting to break into Alec Baldwin's dream, 'Inception'-style. A highlight had Hathaway busting into the 'Black Swan' recital room to debut her "dance of the brown duck."

The pair's monologue was also a winner. Franco, who scored his first Academy Award nomination this year for his role in '127 Hours,' looked every bit the handsome leading man in a Tom Ford suit, while Hathaway stunned in an embellished white Givenchy haute couture gown.

The pair not only charmed audiences with their undeniable chemistry, but seemed both genuinely happy and grateful to have the opportunity to host, with Franco snapping photos of the crowd on his phone.

"Microphones get smaller!" I genuinely laughed at that. And I don't know what James Franco was doing during the "Black Swan" bit, but I could watch that all day.
