Charlie Sheen's Publicist Quits Following Live Interview

Just minutes after Charlie Sheen's live interview with TMZ wrapped, his publicist has called it quits.

Sheen, who has brought his verbal hurricane of "winning" to a number of media outlets this morning, appeared on the site to continue his tirade with Mike Walters without the benefit of editing.

Following the interview, Sheen's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, told TMZ, "I worked with Charlie Sheen for a long time and I care about him very much; however, at this time, I'm unable to work effectively as his publicist and have respectfully resigned."

Rosenfield, who also represents George Clooney and Robert De Niro, shot down reports that Sheen was either retiring or entering rehab shortly before the TMZ interview ended.

Upon hearing Rosenfield's decision, Sheen called his ex-publicist a "p**sy," saying, "He's not allowed to quit, so you're fired."

As for the future of his career, Sheen told his fans and colleagues, "I hope you're all preparing your apologies."

It doesn't surprise me if Whoopie takes up for Charlie. You can't blame the publicist from quitting if Charlie doesn't listen to any advice. He just keeps looking more and more like a fool.

Charlie Sheen had everything going for him, but he is a drugie and an idiot. He is not nearly as great as he thinks he is. I hope they do not hire him back. If they do ,I surely will not be

I feel very sorry for poor Charlie. He can't help himself, he was born with a silver foot in his mouth. If he ever sobers up he will be crying bitter tears. Sheen is now a proven bona fide whack job. His publicist had to have known this for years and finally has an escape hatch open. When you listen to his bizarre rantings, it's no wonder he is not able to stay in a stable relationship for long...with ANYBODY!

Journalist are lying crooks by definition, everything and everyone is exploited and blown all out of proportion. One never knows if they are reading the truth or some figment of the journalist imagination.
Anyone that chooses to be a celebrity journalist has to be a gossip monger to begin with. Its the most disgusting profession on earth. Worse than prostitution even.
