The musician and his wife, Johanna Bennett, are expecting their first child, PEOPLE reports.

Singer-songwriter Bennett, the former frontwoman of Totalizer, and Followill are the first members of the Kings of Leon crew to announce pregnancy news.

Followill's cousins and bandmates, Nathan and Caleb, have also had good news on the relationship front recently: Drummer Nathan married girlfriend Jessie Baylin at the end of 2009, while Caleb, the band's frontman, became engaged to Victoria's Secret model Lily Aldridge in 2010.
