Pink Surprised Britney and Christina Turned Out to be The Bigger 'Troublemakers'

Back in the late '90s and early '00s, girl pop ruled the radio. The era saw the rise of
Britney Spears,
Christina Aguilera,
Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore and countless others. But more than a decade later, and for a variety of reasons, none of the ladies are standing quite as tall as they once did. Well, except for one --
Pink.
Today when Pink tweeted, "Out of myself, Britney and Christina -- didn't everyone think I was gonna be the troublemaker? LOOK MA! NO CUFFS!" the team here in
PopEater headquarters paused for a moment of reflection and realized that not only is she absolutely right, but more than a decade into her career, she's bigger (and better) than ever. She's matured into one of the most formidable forces in pop music, one who has scored 11 Grammy nominations (and three wins), sold 30 million albums and is now writing songs for other artists.
Don't get us wrong, we still love Spears and are excited for her new album, but anyone saying the singer hasn't lost some of her luster -- not to mention her formerly astronomical album sales -- is fooling themselves. The same goes for Aguilera, who is making news today more for her questionable behavior and alleged problems with alcohol than her amazing voice. As for Simpson, we hear she makes a mean pair of shoes.
And while nearly all of her peers have experienced major professional or personal (or both) hardships, Pink has simply plodded along, doing what she always has -- making great pop records. Though she was, by her own admission, the "troublemaker," she's never endured the kinds of public turmoil that Spears and Aguilera have. Heck, she couldn't even get divorced right -- the singer amicably separated from husband Cary Hart in early 2008, only to reunite with him less than a year later; she is currently pregnant with their first child,
a girl, due later this spring.
Professionally, things couldn't be better. Pink
scored her second solo number one hit with 'Raise Your Glass' from her 'Greatest Hits...So Far!!!' collection in early December, and saw the second single from the hits package, 'F**kin' Perfect,' rise to No. 2 in February courtesy of heavy radio play and impressive digital sales. In fact, with the exception of 2005, Pink has
placed at least one song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart every year for the past decade. She's had 10 top ten hits from her six multi-platinum albums.
Her most recent tour, 'Funhouse,' which was launched in support of her album of the same name, was the
highest grossing of her career. The Australian leg of the road show alone grossed $60 million and is the most successful tour ever Down Under, playing before 660,000 concertgoers. The acrobatics-heavy show marked the 'So What' singer's first ever North American arena tour, and saw her play stadiums in both Europe and Australia.
Always uncommonly humble, Pink
said of the show, "I've waited 30 years for this tour. I really wasn't sure if anyone was going to show [up]." It seems they did, and in numbers large enough to inspire a three-month summer 2010 extension of the show, entitled 'Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour.' According to a
statement from her U.K.-based tour promoter, Pink's 2009-10 tours sold 3 million concert tickets worldwide.
Other artists have been quick to note Pink's success and are clamoring to work with her. The singer's skills as a songwriter are so in demand that she is now penning songs for other artists, including Adam Lambert's top ten hit 'Whataya Want From Me.' She's even crossing genres -- an impressed Eminem recruited the singer for his 'Recovery' track 'Won't Back Down,'
saying, "I felt like she would smash this record."
With a baby on the way and a career that's hotter than ever, Pink is riding high. She's defied everyone's expectations to become one of the most respected artists in popular music. While joking about the trouble she caused her parents as a youth during an appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' Pink
said, "My mom has always wished me a daughter just like me."
She should be so lucky.

yeah britney rules alright... i heard her lip syncing is exceptional...
sorry but how can Britney Spears be 'forever' bigger than P!nk when her latest offering "hold it against me' is dropping down the charts while P!nk's bonus track from her Greatest Hits is still smashing on itunes and Billboard?.
Also, P!nk's last 2 albums crossed the 6 million mark while Spears last 2 albums struggled to sell more than 3 million.
Britney Spears is only bigger in the press due to her antics while P!nk is owning her on the Billboard Charts and World wide.
Limegreen thinks Justin is the next Elvis. How old r u sweetheart..12?
Pink sings from her heart about life - not sex.
B & C sing about "love", sex, and pain they've never gotten over.....hence why they are where they are at - they need to let it all go and move on....
Like Pink who also ended back with her man and now having a new life to sing about!

Pink may not be a troublemaker, but when did she start looking like Tyne Daley? (google her kids).

PINK SHUT UP! BRITNEY WAS NEVER A TROUBLE MAKER SHE HAD DOUBLE POST PARTUIM DEPRESSION! CHRISTINA IS JUST ANNOYING AND A TALENTLESS HACK!

Stop hating on Pink. She's right they are troublemakers. Do you not remember Britney hanging out with Paris and Lindsey (2 other well know troublemakers).
Now you are going nuts defending Britney. A little earlier it was Katie Holmes. Once again, get a life.
Pink is a mean girl. She loves making fun of other girls to feel good about herself. Such a hypocrite, singing about how you should just be yourself (as long as you aren't one of those "stupid girls"). She's pathetic really. Britney obviously had some serious mental issues. Why even bring that up now?
Lime green is a horrible color! Britney Spears is laughable! And Pink RULE'S

LOL, Pink please! Your album sales have never been that good except in the early years and even then you were ALWAYS behind Britney and Christina.
Her album Trouble FLOPPED hard and no one remembers it anymore.
I don't understand why pop stars always have to put each other down. Unlike Pink, Britney never says anything bad about her peers. She's always been polite and very humble. Her album sales may be down, but she's still selling millions and selling out stadiums.
Pink, sit down and shut up. You never know when things may start going bad for you. Be grateful and be gracious.

I like Pink, but she is hardly a better artist than any of the other girls. Congratulations for staying out of trouble, but career wise, I honestly can't name one Pink song aside from Lady Marmalade, which she did with a bunch of other women - including Christina, who blew Pink and the other women out of the water with her vocals. I can admit that and I don't even LIKE Christina. Pink is a good stage performer, but she just doesn't have the same draw that Britney and Christina have.

Didnt anyone see that awesome performance Pink did at the American Music Awards show i think it was where she sang Glitter in the Air hanging from the silks she was Awesome. At least her voice doesnt have to be over produced to make it sound good like Britney's. Pink is a true artist....
