Charlie Sheen Loses Sons, but Daughters Are Safe With Denise Richards

EXCLUSIVE: Despite reports that Denise Richards' daughters, Sam, 7, and Lola, 6, are with their father, Charlie Sheen, sources tell me both young ladies are at home with their mother, far away from all the drama.

"No way would Denise let her daughters be part of the insanity that's going on right now. Her first priority is Sam and Lola, and she would never allow them to be part of this circus," a source close to the actress tells me.

Denise has worked hard in the past year or so to make sure her children know as little as possible about their dad's assorted vices, whether they be drug or women-related. But with Charlie's assault on the media over the last few days, it's become increasingly hard for her to fend off their natural curiosity. The girls are now at an age when they are starting to ask questions about him.

"You can't turn on a TV this week and not see Charlie hanging out with his so-called 'goddesses' or ranting about CBS," my source complains. "But what you have to remember is that none of this is new for the people in his life."

HOW CHARLIE FEELS RIGHT NOW:

Because of his visibility, millions of fans and observers are just now getting a glimpse of Charlie's manic side, but sources close to the star say, "This is the version of Charlie that Denise and others have had to deal with every day for many years."

Caught in the middle of this tragic mess are Sam and Lola's half-brothers, Max and Bob. The boys were removed from Charlie's home last night under the instruction of a judge who ordered they be returned to the actor's soon-to-be ex-wife Brooke Mueller.

Denise has full custody of her daughters with Charlie. According to the Los Angeles Times and KTLA 5, the actress showed up at some point during the night to check on Sam and Lola. But that report has only added confusion to what really went down.

On Twitter, Denise said she "got the kids off to bed" and was going to relax for the rest of the night but later deleted the message after she became aware that police had removed Charlie's sons from his home.

"Denise tweets about her daughters all the time," the friend tells me. "However, after she found out what was going on she removed it. She wants to keep her family out of this mess in real life and on Twitter."

Oh really, never read where Hugh got physically violant,put his kids in danger...Charlie's from Mars with a higher revolved brain than all the rest of us...you smokin' the crack too? Should we all wait til he gets his kids drunk, addicted or dead?

He is obviously delusional very possibly bi polar, which of course is aggravated by his drug use. More than likley his brain is starving for nutrients, causing him to act erracticly and he needs nutritional therapy as well as drug/alcohol treatment. He also needs prayer, and lots of it. Seems the devil has a strong hold on him. I pray for his soul and that he is released from his demons.

What a shame. This guy really flipped out. This is what drugs and alcohol do to you. It's only a matter of time and Charlie will be beyond any help. He's too far gone.

What... "too far gone" what are you smoking. No one is ever too far gone when they have family & friends and in Charlie Sheen's case he has whatever he wants. He just sees the light in a different way. He's defending himself on his privacy! Whatever he does on his time from work is his business, just like everyone else in our country! I hope the cast and crew get paid for the 8 episodes that are now gone & put this behind and get back to work with Charlie Sheen!! Lets be honest.... he is the show!!

This is what active addiction does to people. I pray he will get sick and tired of being sick and tired. It seems he is in total denial of the addiction. I pray that he will hit his bottom quickly. He really needs a long term rehab. Not the luxury ones. He is suffering from addiction and I believe mental problems.If only people will stop judging people this world would be a better place. GOD be with him.

If I was one of his exs w/children....he would not be around the children, Sheen is in no condition to care for his children or an animal!!! Sheen can't make rational decisions regarding his self how in the world could he possibly make rational decisions for his children????

I think Denise Richards got out and is doing a good job with their girls....keeping them away from Sheen's madness!!!

Obviously Sheen does not think about his children or give them any consideration, otherwise he would clean up his act and think about how they view him and how they will in the future. Maybe Sheen doesn't give a wit if his kids were to do drugs or drink....he is just plain stupid and you can't fix stupid!!!

CHARLIE SHEEN shooting his big mouth off again "on camera" is exactly why Hollywood Actors need writers, scripts, producers and handlers to plan out there every thought before going live.

This junk-yard dog is WAY OUT OF CONTROL, ONLY GOD CAN HELP THIS FOOL. I'm guessing there are many actors just like SHEEN who hidding from the camera, too affraid of what they might say without a script in front of them.

NEXT TIME YOU THINK ACTORS ARE ALL THAT, think about it for a minute and then watch Charlie destroy his TV career using a disrepectful mouth, drugs, porn-stars, and the worst thing he could possably do - THREATEN CBS & HOLLYWOOD PRODUCERS.

you got it...Charlie thinks he is the show but "Berta", "Jake" and "Alan" are the ones that make it, after all it was Jon that won an award for best supporting actor in a series..Charlie never won anything for the show and no way in hell does he deserve to make what he gets...they can easily write him off and if there are true supporters of the other character's then they will still watch...
