Charlie Sheen Loses Sons, but Daughters Are Safe With Denise Richards

EXCLUSIVE: Despite reports that Denise Richards' daughters, Sam, 7, and Lola, 6, are with their father, Charlie Sheen, sources tell me both young ladies are at home with their mother, far away from all the drama.

"No way would Denise let her daughters be part of the insanity that's going on right now. Her first priority is Sam and Lola, and she would never allow them to be part of this circus," a source close to the actress tells me.

Denise has worked hard in the past year or so to make sure her children know as little as possible about their dad's assorted vices, whether they be drug or women-related. But with Charlie's assault on the media over the last few days, it's become increasingly hard for her to fend off their natural curiosity. The girls are now at an age when they are starting to ask questions about him.

"You can't turn on a TV this week and not see Charlie hanging out with his so-called 'goddesses' or ranting about CBS," my source complains. "But what you have to remember is that none of this is new for the people in his life."

HOW CHARLIE FEELS RIGHT NOW:

Because of his visibility, millions of fans and observers are just now getting a glimpse of Charlie's manic side, but sources close to the star say, "This is the version of Charlie that Denise and others have had to deal with every day for many years."

Caught in the middle of this tragic mess are Sam and Lola's half-brothers, Max and Bob. The boys were removed from Charlie's home last night under the instruction of a judge who ordered they be returned to the actor's soon-to-be ex-wife Brooke Mueller.

Denise has full custody of her daughters with Charlie. According to the Los Angeles Times and KTLA 5, the actress showed up at some point during the night to check on Sam and Lola. But that report has only added confusion to what really went down.

On Twitter, Denise said she "got the kids off to bed" and was going to relax for the rest of the night but later deleted the message after she became aware that police had removed Charlie's sons from his home.

"Denise tweets about her daughters all the time," the friend tells me. "However, after she found out what was going on she removed it. She wants to keep her family out of this mess in real life and on Twitter."

The family needs to take action like Brittany Spears family did and take over the financial and business accounts. He needs to move home with his family and have them monitor his behaviors. Yes, he needs meds... he is out of control.

He has been sober for 7 months but banging 7grams of coke at a time. ROFLMAO. Him and Lindsay should get together so we half the tweets and texts to the media.

It is so very sad that innocent children are involved in this tragic mess. But I may be in the minority in finding Charlie to be quite entertaining in a viscerally macabre way. Sheen makes Danny Bonaduce seem rather tame. But as I stated earlier any amusement I derive from this bombastic train wreck must be tempered by the fact that children are involved in this voyage into the theatre of the absurd. Charlie is truly the ''imp of the perverse''.

I am sick and tired of hearing this idiot rant and rave on TV. Give us a break and quit interviewing him or reporting anythig on this jerk. Any of us who have dealt or do deal with addicts know that they all say the same things he is saying. They are all egotistical maniacs who only care about themselves and never care enough about the people who love them (even their small children) to stop the addiction. He is only 4 days sober who cares. I will help him celebrate when he is 40 years sober. Once an addict always an addict. They all make our lives miserable so please stop giving this jerk the time of day. It really ticks me off to see him get such publicity out of making fun of the very people who want to help him. He never was worth 2 million an episode if you ask me. Oh and by the way they drink, snort and smoke all their millions away. Don't be surprised I warned you.

Brooke is a drunk also. She had to promise to have a sober coach and a nanny as she is in treatment now. Those poor poor kids.

In Nov of 1999 I was at Promises malibu and Charlie came in to talk to us he took his time to talk to me 1hr 30 min he helped save my life sober 11/16/99.He needs love and help try to look past the desease and think of him as someone that is on deaths door with a battering ram .Hopefully with the consequences he is racking up every day he will get help .Good luck we saved a seat for you .Kurt

I think it quite apropriate to remember that his behavior is only considered eccentric if he has loads of money and a job. And as he no longer has a job he is now simply INSANE like so many others out there who have the same delusions of grandure.
