Charlie Sheen's Goddesses Are Insulting to Women Everywhere

Pop-Ed: Charlie Sheen believes his tiger blood and Adonis DNA allow him to treat women like objects, sex slaves and nannies -- anything but his equals.

Watch any of Sheen's live interviews in his posh Hollywood estate and you will see one of his two goddesses, Natty, a bikini model, and Rach (also known as Bree, her porn name) scurrying about in the background, making coffee, fetching one of Charlie's twins or generally giggling (cowering?) behind sunglasses while they watch their lord and master do his thing on camera.

"He treats these women like they are interchangeable objects," says Jessica Wakeman, a blogger for The Frisky, a pop culture site for young women. "He is a rich, white, attractive dude who has power in Hollywood and because of that he is sending a message to people that it is acceptable to treat women like this."

Sheen refers to these ladies as his goddesses, often with a sly smirk. Both are in their early 20s and if we want to call a spade a spade, look much more like his daughters than his lovers. In fact, one friend of mine told me she threw up a little in her mouth when she saw Charlie make out with Bree on television.

"I really thought he was her dad," she said.

Yahoo Shine's Piper Weiss agrees the whole polyamorous scenario is beyond creepy.

"These women seem pretty young. I'm not saying they're underage, but they do seem kind of tragic because he's this old guy who's throwing money at them," Weiss told us. "They seem like concubines -- old school concubines."

On 'The Howard Stern Show' Tuesday morning, Sheen revealed the sleeping arrangement he has worked out with the goddesses, whereby they each sleep in their own beds in the same room. When he is ready to retire, Charlie enters the room like a monarch and chooses between the two. We wonder which one sighs in relief.

Particularly insulting in this entire scenario is the use of the term goddess, a typically sacred title used to refer to a woman who is treated with special reverence.

A more apt moniker in this case would be sex slave, although it doesn't sound as pretty in live interviews.

"The truth is that the women seem more like sex slaves, but to not insult them to their faces he calls them 'goddesses,' a term that women use to embrace power, the opposite of what he seems to really mean by that term. He also is very clear about why he likes prostitutes, so you do the math," says Cooper Lawrence, 'Cult of Celebrity' author and radio personality on the Scott & Todd show on WPLJ.

Weiss adds that there is something creepily similar in this scenario to the Manson Family.

"There's also something very Manson girls to it. They're these docile believers in a man the world knows has lost it," Weiss says. She also wonders, "Why is it so often young women? And why aren't we more concerned for these girls' well-being?"

That is a fair question. While Sheen may appear all lovey dovey to the goddesses when the cameras are rolling, he has a history of extreme violence against women, most recently his reported attack on an escort in a Plaza hotel room. Before that he was charged with domestic abuse against his ex-wife Brooke Mueller, who alleged he held a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her.

This goddess situation is like dynamite waiting for a match and in the meantime sends a degrading message about how American men with power and money can and do treat the women in their lives.

This is the silliest bunch of crap I have ever read. Sex slaves? Charlie Manson??? Seriously? What's wrong with worshiping the man you love? Even "God" talks about sex slaves in the bible Exodus 21:7 Who knows what goes on behind closed doors? It's not out business. But he's neither high nor crazy he just knows what people feed on and he's giving it to us all. Yes it's amusing, but please stop buying into it so much. Who cares how others live their life as long as they are not hurting anyone in the process. Who are we to be so judgemental?

You said everything right but we all have to agree he used to be handsome, because if you look at him now he isn't. He looks like an old thin man worn out. He may be rich and famous but he sure is not handsome any more.

....Sheen is an adult, these women are adults I have no problem with them but put his children in that environment??I'm glad the cops got them out of there, its one thing to live in your fantasy its another to subject your kids to it.

"We all love Charlie" Ok sounds like a cult from the 60s. These girls are an insult to anyone with a brain. I saw them and they were air heads with no self respect. He is spiraling, and I hope he gets the help he needs and gets his kids back. It is heartbreaking to think of those 2 babies with drug addicts for parents. Can't another family / close friend take them? They shouldn't be with either parent right now. Instead of watching the train wreck happen, someone needs to do the right thing and step in and help the kids.

Huh, seems like women advocate for women's right to control their body until they do something with it the collective doesn't like. I'm not a fan of Charlie. I don't watch his show or interviews, but the harping sounds like a lot of embittered old maids.

Has anyone forgotten Sheen has a 27 year old daughter with a woman named Paula Profit?
These girls are younger than that.
It's deplorable that he treats women this way but the 2 girls living in that house are consenting and hardly brainwashed. They're in it for what they can get out of it.
Thank God his ex wife got those two beautiful boys out of the house and his other ex wife seems to be handling her 2 girls well. He's unfit to be a parent.

Oh GIVE ME A break. I'm a female and I'm not offended by this. I think Charlie Sheen is hilarious. And these grown women are not children and are willing participants to this three ring circus that we've all been sucked into. SO WHAT? Yeah and Hugh has been doing it for years too. I personally am entertained as hell that at least hes not being a phony and pretending to be something that hes not.

These women are ok with being degraded, especially the porn star. I don't feel sorry for them. A lot of women nowadays have no shame. I think it's perfectly fine for Sheen to have insecure golddigging women in his home if that makes him happy. The girls are happy that they're getting his money. Everyone's a winner.

this is a poorly written drivel. i am slightly insulted to have read it. i now feel a little dumber. i don't think you made a single valid point. anyone can write in hyperbole, or quote hyperbole of others, but that doesn't make it true or even worth considering. i hope you had some of charlie sheen's coke when you wrote this because that might be the only excuse or explanation. please retire from writing.

for your information, i have no opinion on charlie sheen, and i don't plan to form one. the title of this article simply caught my eye on google news. i thought it was going to be entertainingly bad. my expectations were blown away.

You do jniw that a lot of porn stars and hookers are lesbians (gay). That is why they do it, it does not mean anything personal to them to have sex with men. It is just something they do for money.
