What Is Justin Bieber Trying to Say?

Justin Bieber is a child no more. The pop star celebrated his 17th birthday yesterday, and he did his fair share of showing the paparazzi who's boss. Bieber gave photographers the middle finger as he and his rumored, but obviously no longer a rumor, girlfriend Selena Gomez were leaving Maggiano's restaurant after his birthday dinner.

Has our favorite teeny-bopper gone all "Charlie Sheen" on us? Doubtful. It just looks like the normally well-mannered singing sensation may have just had enough of the paparazzi following his every move. He and Gomez were mobbed earlier in the day while out shopping.

Joan Rivers is certainly no stranger to speaking her mind. She let the bird fly last week, reportedly saying it was directed at those people who did not nominate her reality show, 'Joan Knows Best,' for an Oscar. Yes, that doesn't make much sense to us either, but at least it's entertaining.

Flipping the bird to photogs might just be some self promotion for Cee Lo. With his song 'F**k You' a huge hit, maybe he just wanted to give a reminder to everyone as he walked the red carpet at an event last month. Either that, or he really didn't like what someone had to say.

Ben Affleck can feel Bieber's pain. He was seen here giving photographers a piece of his mind while out with his wife Jennifer Garner and older daughter Violet. The family was on a frozen yogurt run when Affleck had had enough of the paparazzi snapping photos, and gave them a not-so-friendly signal to bug off.

It amazes me how these entertainers love the loads of money they make, getting all the publicity about their movies or records, but they don't seem to realize that they "make their own bed and now have to sleep in it".........They are public figures now so should just get over the attention or just get out of the business.

I agree with some of the posters -- I think JB is highly over-rated as well. He is also full of himself and I think his gesture was his immature way of showing off in front of Selena. Americans swear and curse much too much -- the younger generation is the worst. Sometimes every other word out of mouths is bad. Hard to have an intelligent conversation anymore!

17 years old and he has money to burn for the rest of his life - and oh do they really know what they have? Nope! They place themselves way above the ordinary people; and the people who fawn over him, as with the other celebs make them feel extraordinary. These people are just that people; the money they rake in for the professions is also because of the people who once again put them on their pedestals. The paparazzi who surrounds them with no let up sells their pics to the magazines who put them in the public eye too; and again they are up there making that moola. I see no reason for the impatience or their viewpoints when they are in the business that has set them apart from the ordinary folk. My attitude would be far different if I had a mansion or two anywhere I wanted it to be and the money to spend any way I liked.

im tired of celeb giving the paparazzi bad manners when they are just trying to do their jobs. Listen celebs, the only reason why u r rich is becuz ur famous, and the only reason y u r famous is becuz of the magazines to paparazzi sells their photos to! Yeah, i can c y it is annoying to have no privacy, but ever hear "the price of fame"? It is having no privacy!

Justin, You've always been a really nice clean-cut, generous, and polite teenager. If I was having dinner on my birthday with my girlfriend and unwanted people were photographing me, I would also be upset. Guess your gesture just proves that you are a really normal nice guy like most teenagers.
