I hope you harbor the same sentiment for anyone with a pulmonary embolism, and not just famous people. As a matter of fact, I have more sympathy for non-celebrities since they have fewer resources, and would probably just die from an undiagnosed health issue.
Franklin, please. We didn't hear about EVERYONE with this ailment only Serena. Of couse we wish everyone else well. It was obnoxious and unnecessary for you to say that.
Thank God the ageless cupid people are reading this article!.....................
How about monitoring these people and deleting them so they don't continue stealing people's address books and personal info!>????????

Too bad it's not you with the pulmonary embolism.
Why would you say something so offensive and stupid? Would you please just go to hell and spare us your moronic opinions in the future?
Racism is sickening. The person who exhibits it is even sicker. Go get some help soon!!!!

Hey "Jfilia", it's too bad that you're not the one that's having the surgery. The world would be a much better place without cowards like you. You'll post your poison, then run and hide in your cave and not even check the responses to your cowardice statement. You though you were being funny, but millions now know of your insecurities. That said, "gorilla" has more wealth that your whole family lineage past, present & future.
Embolisms are scary, hope she's alright.

Actually, emboli can be deadly if the clot is large enough and tries to enter the lung by a larger airway. She's very lucky to still be here. Take care of yourself Serena and follow the doctors on this one.
Praying for Serena. I hope she recovers from this ordeal.

I hope Serena get better soon so that she can continue to amaze us on the Tennis court. Also, ignorant people that think they offend Africans Americans, by calling us those ridiculous and stereotypical names, need to stop wasting their energy. We know who we are, and whose we are. The same God that created them created us.

Remember she had a injury to her foot. Many people bump their legs,or bodies and clots unknowingly develops and travels thru the blood stream. Many times resulting in death if they reach the lungs or heart. My sister, an RN fell and didn't realize that she had developed a clot....until she began to have shortness of breath. That led to the discovery of the pulmonary clot. Now she has to take a med daily to disolve smaller clots that broke off from the larger clot. This is a very dangerous ordeal and nothing to make jokes about.
