Justin Bieber Apologizes to Fans for Giving the Finger

Justin Bieber took to Twitter to apologize to his fans for giving the paparazzi the finger.

Bieber gave photographers the middle finger as he and his girlfriend Selena Gomez were leaving Maggiano's after celebrating his 17th birthday at the restaurant on March 1. He admitted to losing his temper and regretted his actions.

Bieber tweeted, "had a great bday and at the end of the night we got surrounded by paps and i reacted in a way i know better. im sorry #killthemwithkindness."

He continued, "it's not always easy but i know better than to react in anger."

On a happier note, he gave thanks to his fans for making his birthday wish come true. "On a better note i need to say THANK U to my fans. we raised over 40k for @charitywater for my bday. we together #madeachange."

Bieber had urged fans to donate at least $17 to the Charity: Water foundation, which provides clean water to those in need. Bieber has already helped raise more than $44,000 (and growing), which surpassed the $17,000 campaign goal.

And in more charity news, Bieber's hair sold on eBay yesterday for $40,688.

Bieber, who cut his hair last week, wanted to use his locks to help raise money for charity and shared them with Ellen DeGeneres just one day after cut.

DeGeneres put the locks up on eBay, and within the first hour, Bieber's hairs were already up to $10,000 in bids. The auction ended yesterday and helped raise $40,688 for the Gentle Barn, an animal rescue organization in Santa Clarita, Calif., which was chosen by DeGeneres.

"sheening-up his his life." I have never heard the term "sheening-up" but I love it!!! As for Justin, I've never heard anything of him being a party boy, drinking, doing drugs, etc... I'm not really a fan and have none of his stuff but he does seem to be a nice enough kid that I hope will not get caught up in the "Hollywood scene" or Sheen Scene. I did like his performance on CSI. He apologized, give him some credit there. I've never heard of the Paparazzi apologizing for all the garbage they do!!! Good for Justin. How about putting focus on positive things instead of negatives?

Everyone knows that the paps are a part of the job. If you choose to be an entertainer/celebrity, then it's the price you pay. Don't try and be all high and mighty and act like you didn't look at or buy those mag rags before you were famous.

Hey little sissy boy: Your fans made you the money you have today.Without these paparazzi you wouldn't be in the news most of the time and you would end up nobody. I am not your fan that is for sure but you hollywood people better start realizing the people made you and we can break you just as easy.

I am not a Justin Bieber fan but a kid should be able to celebrate his 17th Birthday without it being ruined by these parasites. His third finger was appropriate, no matter what his agent told him to say now.

it's ok Justin !! I still love u. you know sometimes the papparazi do deserve the finger ... they get so annoying ... but Selena Stupid Gomez, she has changed u . If you havent realized, she's using u for her singing career :/ dont let that happen !!! Soon she'll really change u, and i probably won't like u anymore...
