Following a very messy and public divorce from producer Swizz Beatz, Mashonda Tifrere is slowly putting her life back together."Divorce is terrible for anyone, but when it's public, it's over the top," Tifrere tells PopEater.
The pair divorced in 2008, after four years of marriage, amid rumors that he had an affair with Alicia Keys. Although Tifrere had choice words for Keys at the time, she is singing a friendly tune now, claiming the two women are "totally cool" -- for the sake of her and Swizz's 3-year-old son.
"There is a child involved that everybody loves dearly, so we make it work for him," she says. "People need to come to terms for the child, and we're finally in a really good place now."
Putting the past behind her, she's stepping back into the spotlight -- on her terms -- starring in VH1's new reality show, 'Love & Hip Hop,' which features the female side of the New York hip-hop scene. And she says it's "nothing like the 'Real Housewives.'"

This woman and her "I was used up and thrown away" story is supposed to be interesting in some way? Not hardly. Doesn't say much for the largely respected Keys and her level of judgment, but whatever, people are dumb like that.

Its not that their stories aren't interesting, its just that these kinds of situations never change. Regardless of if the stories are being told by the wives of: ball players, rappers and so on, the story never changes.
WHY?
Because so many of these men don't want to change, and the women go into it young and stupid. I don't understand why they can't learn from the trials and tribulations of the women who came before them. Men can only get away with as much as you allow!
That's your view and you're entitled to it, but no, a story regarding a celebrity stealing a relative nobody's spouse is not something that most intelligent people would find particularly fascinating in any way. Your rather one-sided, broad-based shot at men is also somewhat askew, but I'm guessing their are any number of back stories that have led you down that road. Find yourself better reading material in future as tawdry garbage like this is not very important.
Who are these people anyway? Never heard of either of them.

Check out the Country and Western chanels and am radio stations, they're BIG in that venue!!!
Mostly I think this woman wants attention and is trying to be like Alicia. I laugh. The book, the new album, the TV show, her women empowerment theme now. She needs to stop playing follow the leader. She needs to be herself and stop flaunting herself in men's mags. Not a good look.
