Sirius XM Launches Nonstop Charlie Sheen Station

Charlie Sheen fans who can't get enough of the star's hilarious interview tour have something to look forward to. (And everyone wishing the whole mess would just go away can continue shaking their heads.) Sirius XM is launching a station devoted entirely to everything Charlie, which, according to a statement, includes "breaking news, facts, fallout and career implications."

The Hollywood Reporter writes that the aptly titled Tiger Blood Radio will broadcast nonstop for a full 24 hours beginning March 5 at 6AM on Sirius 108 and XM 139. The station offers fans the opportunity to inject their "boring, normal lives" with a healthy dose of "bi-winning" and "Adonis DNA." But it will also touch on the negative aspects of Sheen's recent wild behavior, examining potential mental issues and the negative impact it could potentially have on his career.

Howard Stern recently said during an appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' that he had proposed the idea of "Charlie Radio, 24 hours a day, 'cause there's nothing better than that." See the clip:

Sheen has been making headlines for the past two weeks thanks to a string of candid and erratic interviews with 'Today,' 'Good Morning America,' TMZ and RadarOnline.com, where he likened himself to a "warlock." At the height of his drug binging, Sheen claimed he was "bangin' 7-gram rocks," claimed "dying is for fools" and introduced the two live-in girlfriends he calls his "goddesses."

Charlie then opened a personal Twitter account that gained over 100,000 followers before his first tweet. The account now stands at 1.58 million followers.

Taking advantage of a mentally unstable person to make money is ethically and morally wrong. Before launching this station, they should think of the children involved and how this will affect them. Sorry Howard, but you of all people should have some empathy for the kids and scratch this idea. It's one thing to laugh at some of the stuff Sheen says, but it's clear that he is having some sort of mental breakdown and you want to exploit that? How low can you go.

CHARLIE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE IS DOING. JUST BECAUSE HE PARTIES DOESN'T MEAN HE IS MENTAL. IF ONLY YOU COULD BE ONE OF HIS KIDS THAT ARE GETTING THE BEST OF THE BEST. HE HAS STATED HOW MUCH HE LOVES THEM.
HOWARD DID THE BEST INTERVIEW EVER. CHARLY IS TIRED OF THE OLD PAPARAZZI AND THEIR BORING QUESTIONS. HE IS HEADING TO GEEZER STATUS SO GIVE HIM A BREAK.

Sheen would have to stay sraight if we watched him 24/7. No fake drug tests....and for certain , in exchange for the media blitz that he craves, he'd lose his kids forever. Yup, bet'cha that won't matter to him and his porn stars. Partnering up with Stern... won't the family be so proud ! Might as well, start writing his obit right now. That would just continue his deterioration. too bad. Stern is acting like the devil tempting this poor soul for his own p.r. boost.

xm has sunk to a new low I thought when they hired dr. laura that was bad but this is worse the reason they are doing this is to get new subscribers to make up for the ones they lost after the merger I used to have 2 radios but do to the cancelation of programs and fireing of dj's I canceled one it took 6 months to cancel and the radio was broken so I payed 6 months for a useless radio no credit off the bill either

I could think of 10 better things to put on the radio,
because Howard Stern may as well be making the biggest
mistake of his entire radio career by launching a
Sirus channel about someone like Charlie Sheen, who
for all we know could end up dead by the time of its
launch. I'm sorry, but this is going too far, even for
the so-called king of all media. I hope he gets fired,
or his contract expires and he never does radio, again!
Howard Stern, forget about this Sheen-sation, and just
stick to your own day job.

everyone it seems is having a field day with the babblings of Charlie Sheen. He is seriously ill and should be getting medical attention. I think it's pathetic that so many are cashing in on his demise. I wish someone who really cares for him would take him in hand and get him away from the media and into a rehab program..

I love the way charlie sheen explained it . He is on no other drug other than the great charlie sheen drug of being stepped on way to long. He is not mental and has past ALL the drug test they thew at him from cbs and he past with flying colors,So as far as I am concerned," You Go Charlie Sheen.."Get as much as you can from CBS,like you said,they would be real smart if they settled out of court. Cause they will loose big if they want to go to court. I am behind you 150%..............

Sure mic up this rich maniac - you might get the sound of him snorting or buying some ILLEGAL stuff that keeps the drug dealers growing stronger and probably mowing down many innocent people with their guns and money to own many people in the U.S. How very sad. And this is the type of person the media wants to glorify and elevate in front of everyone. The best thing would be to stop writing about Charlie Sheen and turn the cameras off him. How about the spotlight on someone doing good things for people?

This is part of what is wrong in our country. If I were someone who paid to listen to a satellite radio, I would immediately cancel my subscription the day this stupid Sheen program began airing. While I find this man to be a sad example of how arrogant some people get it is also a very sorry thing to watch. This man has some serious issues that go well beyond drinking, doing drugs and sleeping with porn stars so he needs help rather than being exploited. Those around Sheen who claim to love him need to step in and help him now! Everyone else needs to boycott this radio station and anything else this man does until he gets himself straightened out.

They had their fans' interest and financial support and throw

Spot on! Just a few months ago the big celebrity "breakdown" of the moment was David Arquette...another Stern Show interview that revealed David's substance abuse and psychological issues. Interesting coincidence that both of these guys have been on Stern's show?
