Just hours after getting into a head-on collision in Los Angeles, David Arquette took to his Twitter page to let friends and fans know that he was doing okay.Showing that his sense of humor was still intact as well, Arquette's Tweet included a Charlie Sheen reference: "I got into a car accident but I'm fine. Luckily I have dragon's blood running through my veins. Haha Thank you for all your concern." He then added, "Remember to wear your seatbelt-wish I was."
An eyewittness told the site that a car in front of Arquette suddenly stopped, forcing him to steer into traffic and causing the accident.
Although Arquette was seen lying on the ground bleeding, before being taken to the hospital, his rep told UsMagazine.com that the actor is okay. "He's fine," says the rep. "He is on his way to be treated."

It was divine intervention.
boy, what would we do without David and both parties in congress telling us what to do????
Arquette should read my book: SOS Safely Obtaining Sobriety: The Alcohol Recovery Aid by George Legacy. It will probably help in the long run. Alcohol may not have been involved in the accident, but Arquette could benefit. A lot of what Charlie Sheen has been saying is in my book. (I think he may have read it.) Anyone who needs help with alcohol dependency or addiction can use my book. Get sober on your own terms. Read: SOS Safely Obtaining Sobriety by George Legacy. Search for: SOS Safely Obtaining Sobriety.
This is what actually happened and is not being reported!
WBTV
A small plane collided with an old Ford pickup truck at an airport outside of Charlotte, N.C. yesterday, creating quite a scene. No one was injured in the crash.
The accident occurred on a gravel road next to the runway at the Goose Creek Airport in Indian Trail, N.C., about 15 miles from Charlotte. The accident involved an experimental single-engine plane and a parked truck.
The plane's right wing slammed into the truck's windshield and roof. The truck was unoccupied and the plane's pilot was able to walk away from the crash.
There were reports a sudden wind gust may have played a factor in the faulty landing.
The kit plane was built by David Quist of Charlotte over the course of 18 years, reports WBTV. The plane reportedly just received its certificate of airworthiness in January.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are investigating the crash.

geesh.. any word on anyone else hurt in this accident?? I'm glad David is living and feeling well enough to tell his tale and give advice. I'm a director of a 911 center and last night we lost one of our officers to the same type of accident. Only he was on the receiving end of the pick up truck that swerved into his lane and hit him head on. The guy that killed our officer was not wearing a seat belt either but walked away unhurt. Better advice than wearing a seat belt is to pay ATTENTION and keep your car in your lane! Don't text and drive, don't follow so close you have to swerve into another lane! Yeah.. I'm mad :(

Is this his face after the accident?

What an idiot not wearing his seatbelt. Too bad he wasn't thown through the windshield, woulda been a good visual teaching tool.

LMAO!!! I agree with you 1000%!! I wished I was there if he actually through the windshield. Even though I wear my seatbelt, his negligence to wear one would be an excellent reinforcement tool, not only to me, but to others too.
This is so funny. After the fact he tells folks to wear their seat belts. The idiot should ALWAYS wear his belt!

I have some better advice for David.....GET OFF YOUR CELL PHONE OR WHATEVER DISTRACTED YOU AND PAY ATTENTION WHILE DRIVING!!!!!! When you have to swerve to avoid ramming the vehicle in front of you it means only one thing....YOU WEREN'T PAYING ATTENTION!!!!

Most likely he was texting while driving because that's what happens when you text and don't pay attention to what's in front of you, they teach you back in driving school to keep a safe distance incase the car in front of you suddenly breaks but you can't do that while texting. I really hope they make programs that will cut off texting while you're driving or something, so many innocent non texting while driving people have died behind fools texting while driving, when I see them driving next to me I tell them off and they stop.

David could of slammed on the brakes b/c the woman or guy in front of him did the same causing a chain reaction.
I can't believe ppl are so cruel they wish they could of watched David go crashing thru a windshield. Sick!
